Came here for a christmas vegan gathering, had a great time. Food was lovely, venue had great ambience, we had a large group and the staff were well coordinated.

Fun to try quirky meat alternatives like scallops made from mushrooms or vegan black pudding. I liked that they didn't try to make it taste like scallop but did bring out the flavour of the mushroom. All home made, unprocessed and healthy with knowledgeable and helpful servers.

Visited Twelve Eatery for lunch when I was down in Bournemouth for the weekend. Really friendly staff told us all about the menu and the ideas behind the food, and made us feel really welcome. The food itself was lovely - can recommend the raw vegan lasagne and the tofu and chips. Great selection of beers too.

After hiking 210km across the Jurassic Coast and sleeping outside for 9 days we had such an amazing celebratory meal at Twelve Eatery along with a nice glass of wine. Dalton was the most attentive and friendly waiter I have ever experienced, explaining everything on the menu with a smile and enthusiasm and really made our meal a great experience going above and beyond. The food was some of the best we’ve ever eaten too, we were sat right next to the kitchen and it was a really calm smoothly run operation which was also nice to see. We will definitely come back if we are ever in Bournemouth again.

I’m visiting the area with family so checked Happy Cow for recommendations and booked us a table.

The other two members of the party are meat eaters, sister embraces it and orders the teriyaki, mother finally orders the steak.
I ordered the schnitzel which was delicious and I only suffered a tinge of food envy at the teriyaki after trying some because I doubt I’ll be back In Bournemouth for a long time so can’t come back and order it. I tried some of the steak and I’ve never eaten real steak so can’t say if it was realistic but mum enjoyed it.
Obviously I could resist a pudding. I had a terrine special and sister had the cheesecake. Both absolutely perfect!
Overall it was a fantastic meal, so much flavour.
Staff were super friendly and helpful.

We were visiting Bournemouth so looked for vegan places. Came across 12 eatery. We booked online easily, arrived in time for their afternoon deals. I got the tofu and chips which was excellent. Well presented and delicious. The only slight negative that was (having already purchased two alcoholic drinks) we were asked if we wanted water, seeing table water on the other tables we said yes, assuming this would be repeated. Got a bit of a shock when 4.50 was added to the bill for a bottle of water.

Stunning innovative food. A real treat. I never thought I'd be able to have smoked salmon again but they recreated a vegan version perfectly. The teriyaki mushroom main was out of this world. Biscoff cheesecake was divine.

I visited Twelve Eatery for dinner, it’s unusual for me to have a full three courses but the food was excellent so I took some of their famous cheesecake away with me to enjoy later, I’m so glad I did! I loved this place. The atmosphere, the service, the varied and interesting menu choices, the execution of the meals presented, everything was just spot on. I had a lovely chat with the owner who could not have made me and my dog, Daisy, more welcome throughout our visit. It is a dog friendly venue within the back seating area of the restaurant up until about 5pm.
Read moreI opted for the breaded Camembert with caramelised onion and cranberry relish to start and the ‘rib eye’ steak for main, both were excellent. They make pretty much everything freshly on site, except for the cheezes which they buy in. For me this shows in the quality and flavours of the dishes they serve. I don’t really have adequate words to describe the cheesecake, so I’ll just say it’s probably the best I’ve ever had and I can see why it’s a permanent fixture on the menu!
I live in the midlands so sadly Twelve Eatery isn’t on my doorstep, but I look forward to revisiting someday and trying the awesome looking fysh and chips next time!

This is such a fabulous cool eatery, a menu for people looking to eat fresh flavoursome good food. The owners are a sheer delight, honoured and thrilled that you would come to their restaurant and immediately make you feel welcome. The presentation of the food is dreamy also. You won’t really see the V word when you’re here - it’s just presumed you know the place is vegan so they see no need to say it again. Relax and enjoy a wonderful menu in a modern British style. We particular enjoyed the blackened “fish” with chips. The drinks are great too - plenty for those that don’t drink alcohol.

Pleasant décor, laudable ethos and good service. Imaginative menu. I chose the Feijoada, a Brazilian-inspired dish of black-bean stew with seitan sausage and jackfruit, served with rice and crispy kale, accompanied by a good salsa and farofa topping (toasted cassava flour), with colour added by red teardrop peppers (cute and sweet-ish) and orange.
