Good vegan options

Tweeties offer a few vegan dishes which are a little different to the normal ‘afterthought’ options found elsewhere. We had the Vegan Haggis Bonbons to start (lentil meatballs) and risotto. Both could have had slightly more flavour but they were decent enough.
UPDATE: a year after our last visit and we were in Grasmere again, however, the menu has changed and very few vegan options! We cancelled our reservation and went elsewhere.

Great for the area!
I really like falafel and hummus (lucky as a vegan, ay?!) so I asked for the starter as a main. I wouldn’t recommend as a main. Too much rocket and not enough hummus. The onion bhaji was delicious though!
I also ordered a side of broccoli with chili and garlic, which was lovely!!
