Regular menu is meat-based but has a separate vegetarian/vegan menu which also lists alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. vegan jerk chicken

tried the 24hr marinated jerk chicken was okay, wish the marinade penetrated deeper into the chicken to add more flavour but overall it’s quite good for what it is.

good vegan options

clearly labelled selection of vegan meals and sides, including burgers, chicken roti, salads, a buddha bowl, curry and a wrap. i went here for bottomless brunch, which was fantastic value. all (bar 1) cocktails were vegan on the bottomless brunch menu, and are clearly marked on the menu which is rare for any alcohol menu usually. the service was quick and friendly also.

Decent options

I love the vegan motherclucker burger and the chips (my usual go-to); they always come out freshly cooked and the servers are always very friendly and conscious to note that I am vegan.

I did find, however, that the jerk pit tofu was chewy and overcooked, and the sauce simply spicy (not flavoursome). This will not put me off returning, however - I'll just return to my usual motherclucker burger!

Pros: Quite a few vegan food options, Affordable dining-out option, Plenty of vegan drinks (including cocktails)

Cons: Risk of cross-contamination, Tofu overcooked

Purple Bay vegan options

Great atmosphere.
Friendly and attentive staff.
Food priced reasonably.
Highly recommend this venue.
