Made vegan item non-vegan

I ordered a waffle with some fruit and was told it could be made vegan. I have a milk allergy so I know pretty quickly when someone’s tried to pull a fast one. I was in a party of 6 and everyone’s food came out a long time before mine. Most of the party was actually done eating when my “vegan” waffle came out. Within 15 minutes of starting to eat, I became violently ill and was stuck in bed all weekend from a severe reaction. That only happens to me with milk so I know my waffle wasn’t made properly. Lost all trust in this place after that and none of us will be coming back.
