Underwhelming. - Edit
Visited here for a very rare date night and was left very underwhelmed.
Read moreWe explained on arrival that we were both vegan and that I was gluten-free. After being seated a waiter bought over two pre dinner drinks.. not vegan.
They then bought out some taster dishes, complimentary.. but containing gluten. When asked what the dishes were and which were GF two waiters gave different answers meaning I just didn't try them.
Ordered poppadoms and chutneys.. again mentioned we were vegan and they bought out a dairy option.
The meals, although looked incredible, were under seasoned and were okay, not great or worth the high price.
To end it all the bill was presented with some dairy chocolates.
Although they claimed to be vegan and GF friendly on their website they clearly weren't up to scratch with the amount of non-vegan items they presented us with.
The bill had a surcharge included, which considering we couldn't enjoy all of the extras like the amuse-bouche and aperitif, seemed a little steep, with no alternatives.
They have a lot to work on to be able to claim to be fully vegan friendly.
Pros: Very nice venue, A lot of attentive staff on shift
Cons: Kept being given non-vegan items, No alternative to the complimentaries, all dairy, Expensive

Great little place - Edit
Lovely Indian restaurant with gorgeous looking food that tastes as good as it looks. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the dishes and how to 'veganise' the vegetarian ones. Yes it's on the more expensive side but worth it.

Caters for vegans - Edit
Amazing little restaurant in Coventry and beautiful decoration. I don't think vegan options were clearly listed on the menu, but they were more than happy to cater for us (vegetarian options were vegan or easily made vegan). The food was so flavourful and really enjoyable. It's not on the cheap side but the food was great quality and the service was good too.
