might be the best thai in Kansas - Edit
This is truly the only restaurant in Topeka with numerous decent vegan options. That said, I wouldn't consider it "settling" at all -- I would still travel back to Topeka for it if I moved. The Pad Thai is great, and a very large portion of the menu can be made vegan (just ask for no egg or fish sauce and add tofu and/or veggies). The service is very good, even when it's busy. The staff is friendly. They also seem to be often refining their dishes, or at least how they present them. I'm often delighted to see the changes in the presentation. Their presentation is wonderful and always a pleasant surprise! They're not particularly cheap, but not very expensive either, and well worth the money.

Address Change - Edit
I went to this Restaurant on October 18, 2014. It was the night before my first 50k Trail Race.
They have moved to: 220 SW 29th St, Topeka, KS 66611
I had a Tofu Fresh Roll and the Panang Curry with fried Tofu! It was excellent. The service was great! There are both meat and vegan options. I would go back!
Pros: Wonderful Food, Great Service, Knowledgeable staff
Cons: Address incorrect on Happycow site

Good food! - Edit
With very little vegan options offered in Kansas, we don't expect to find tasty vegan food, especially Asian food in mid-west. Surprisingly, the food (spring rolls, green curry with eggplants, padh Thai, thai ice tea, and sticky mango rice)
we ordered were very delicious, especially the main entrees.
Tips for vegans: be sure not to order wontons as the wraps contains eggs ingredients.. Also, ask for coconut milk in the tea, since usually it's made with cow's milk.
Pros: Friendly staff and pretty good portions, Excellent food, Vegan options
Cons: Serve meat as well
