Update: Stopped going as of April 7, but hope to speak to new owners - Edit
We got take-out on April 7. When we got the bowls home, they were only about two-thirds full. I called and they acknowledged that the chef probably just removed the eggs, which are in the original recipe, and did not substitute more of the veggies. The employee did not offer any compensation for the future. I asked her to pass my message on to the owner and gave her my number. (I never heard back.) I said that we wouldn't be coming back because of this. We just found out that new owners took over. The website says that they have a new menu. I think it might even be less vegan-friendly. I called and had to leave a message because there wasn't a way to reach them by phone. I'm hopeful that the new owners will be open to suggestions.
Read moreEven though there was nothing vegan on the breakfast menu, they happily veganized the veggie bowl for us. It had avocados, three types of potatoes, re-fried and black beans, a variety of bell peppers and sweet onions all of which were seasoned perfectly. We added fresh salsa, salt and pepper. We would happily got back for lunch and wish that they stayed open for dinner.

Great find in a relative barren wasteland of food offerings - Edit
We were trying to hike the Flume Trail and noticed this little cafe attached to the bike rental/ shuttle place offered a vegan burger. Upon closer inspection, we noticed several other options that were vegan or veganizable, including a hummus wrap (which was excellent,,, even better than the very good burger) and had 4 plant milk options to add to the coffee. They were happy to add oat and soy milk to our coffee and it was delicious. They have a few simple breakfast items like fruit and avocado toast, some vegan snacks, lots of vegetarian items that could be veganized by removing cheese and 8 kinds of beer (which I didn't look closely at to determine acceptability). This is a part of Tahoe in which vegan options are exceptionally difficult to find, so this was a great surprise.

Cons: Serve dead animals and their secretions, Not inexpensive, as it is a bit of a tourist trap
