Mediocre food, okay price - Edit

I've been to 4 vege places in Buenos Aires so far and this was without question the worst food. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't very good either. I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend it, given the other better options around.

Good honest grub - Edit

This food was nothing that special but when compared with the usual pizza pasta fare of BA it is nothing short of a miracle. i loved having some spices and new flavours put in front of me. I even bought some to takeaway for dinner. Which was nice.

Pros: Different to usual BA food, Healthy

Cons: Fairly bland for Krishna food

Pretty good indian fare - Edit

We went to Tulasi today for lunch.
The place is pretty simple, and its tucked away in a gallery, a little hard to find at first.
The food was pretty decent for an indian place in buenos aires with an argentine chef. It exceeded my expectations. There were plenty of whole spices in the food, such as mustard, cumin and fennel seeds. Although the food normally comes mild, we asked for it to be 'picante', and it was, which was also nice.
I wouldnt say it was amazing by any means, but it was decent, and i would go back.

Pros: Good use of whole spices, They are able to make it spciy, Good value

Cons: Hard to find, basic decor

tasty indian food - Edit

the restaurant is in a large mall type structure and it took us a minute to locate it within the building. it is a humble shop/restaurant, with a few tables inside and a few tables in the walkway. the owner speaks english and helped us decipher vegan items from the menu. we had samosas, vegetable kofi with rice, and a vegetable tofu dish with rice, and lemonade. they serve bread and chutney for free, the chutney was very good. the tofu vegetable dish was well seasoned and tasted excellent. and their lemonade was divine. food was not spicy.

it is located right across the street from the plaza san martin. the nearest subway stop is the san martin stop on the C line, it pretty much takes you right there.

our bill for two people was 52 pesos.

Pros: vegan options, delicious, good serviice
