The lady that owns this place is so so lovely and served great food ! Everything is 80 baht and she serves free water, which was incredible on this scorching hot day. Not really sure what I ordered to be honest, but was good.

We got 3 different dishes, just to try different things, and they were so good. The papaya salad was my favorite and I love that everything has vegan protein such as soy meat or tofu. The auntie is absolutely lovely. We’ll come back!

We were really used to the traditional jay stand that offers rice with toppings that are already made. However, Tukta is different, she cooks at the time a full dish you like from her menu.
Read moreAs a con, you do not have a written menu, she shows you some photos on Facebook (without the name of the dish) and you pick any of these. They all really look delicious!
You might see eggs on the stand, do not worry as she won't cook them on the dishes (yes, it is not necessary to ask for an eggless pad Thai). We asked her and the stand is by default vegan. Just in case someone asks for some extra eggs she uses them.
Also, the stand is near the highway but it offers some tables to eat in. We ordered to take away as we had no time to stay there and the came out with a really complete meal for a cheap price (80 THB each dish)

Cute, little stall by the street (don’t get confused by the small place). This auntie is nice and sweet and prepares delicious vegan Thai food. We had the stir fried chili paste and the kale crispy pork and we were very happy. Delicious. Thanks a lot and all the best :)
Read moreAddition: We went there again today 🙃 we had amazing crispy vpork with mushrooms, fried noodle and a delicious papaya salad. The owner is so lovely and nice. Unfortunately, we leave tomorrow, but I hope I can visit again in case I can come back to koh tao sometime in the future😄
When clicking on the directions here on HC it somehow didn’t find the stall in Google maps.. search for “Tukta--vegan-vegetarian-food” in google maps and you should find it.

Tukta and her food had us coming back everyday after we went here. Everything that we ate was full of spice and flavor and was very affordable. She recommended something different for us each day and they did not disappoint. Tukta is one of the kindest people that we’ve met in our travels. If you have the chance to chat with her you absolutely should. You honestly must go here.

Best vegan food in Ko Tao - Edit
The food is really tasty. The veg chicken curry is GORGEOUS. The lady who runs the place is so sweet and gentle, if i could i would eat here everyday. And of course, the price is really fair, i would say that is cheaper for what delivers. I love it.

Great little spot by the main road serving an ever changing selection of vegan Thai food, for a reasonable price. Was a bit hard to spot at first, but they have a new sign with English on it. Here for my third day in a row.
