Yummy and convenient - Edit
Had some great vegan thai food from this little food truck! They apparently don’t use any fish sauce, but still be sure to specify vegan. I really enjoyed the pad see ew and pad thai, and their summer rolls with avocado were also a highlight. They were busy and out of a couple items, but it was still definitely worth it!

Split the difference - Edit
I went here to order some dinner for my partner and I and ended up with one great meal and one really terrible meal. So I’m splitting the difference with 2 out of 4 stars.
Read moreIn short, I’d say call in advance because they were out of about half the menu (fair enough, they’re a food truck that operates almost all day). My first choice of curry was out of stock but my second choice was there, and it was delicious! My partner wanted pad Thai, but they were out and the guy recommended I get her sweet and sour stir fry instead. Doesn’t sound like pad Thai to me…. But hey, they know their menu better than me so why not? Anyhow, the stir fry was really bad. So much sweet and sour sauce. It was a nightmare to dispose of because of how much it was leaking. I ended up getting some summer rolls for myself (good) and some spring rolls for her (kinda smashed and messy). Additionally, be warned, the spring rolls are not vegan according to the guy working there (they use egg).
Overall a wild ride. Super friendly guy working there, accommodating to vegans, and some really fine curry. Call ahead and do not get the sweet and sour.
Pros: Great curry, Vegan food in a rural area, Convenient
Cons: Out of stock, Too much sweet and sour

Great food near Volcano National Park - Edit
This great food truck with vegan/vegetarian offerings is very close to Volcano National Park. We wish we found it at the beginning of our trip rather than the end. We ordered the Summer Rolls, Pumpkin Curry and Pad Kee Mao with tofu. We ate the summer rolls before we took pictures. They were fresh & great! The pumpkin curry was delicious. My husband’s Pad Kee Mao was a bit too spicy for him at level 4, but the taste was great.

Awesome Thai food truck! - Edit
Only 4 stars because HappyCow won’t let it have 5 stars as it isn’t fully vegan or vegetarian 🌱. Great options. All menu items can be made vegan by choosing tofu as protein and omitting egg, if the dish contains it. Friendly service, decent prices, great food. Must ask of you want spice added to your food, but they let you know this. I asked for medium and was suggested to get mild as the Thai chilis were very spice. I wish I would have gone for medium or medium plus, as I have had traditional Thai food before and enjoy the spice. I like that it is acceptable to all heat tolerances though.

Unepxected deliciousness - Edit
The truck was run efficiently with a smile. They totally understand vegan and claim that they DO NOT use fish sauce. Such a pleasant relief! Some dishes have egg, and are clearly labeled. Just tell them "no egg." Almost everything is made to order so it's easy to modify most everything. We ordered a number of dishes: Pad See Yu Noodles, Crazy (Drunken) noodles, Panang Curry, Spring Rolls (fried), Pad Thai, and Avocado Summer rolls (wrapped in rice paper). Everything was delicious. Great price and portion size. Will definitely go back.
