Big fan of the tofu curry

I always get their green tofu curry and veggie dumplings. It’s one of my favorite meals of all time. Lots of dishes that use tofu instead of meat.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious

Terrible service and bad food

Hanover does not have a lot of food options, so Tuk Tuk tends to be a favorite among students due in combination to the cheap food and free delivery. However, I will probably be avoiding this place in the future.
I was one of the few brave souls who decides to venture to this somewhat shady spot for an actual sit down meal. From the moment we came in and tried to sit down at a table, one of the servers was rudely telling us not to sit down at that table but at one in the far back. We all got up and did as he asked, but then a female waiter came to yell at him in a language I do not understand--the gist of it seemed to be that she had serving rights over the table we had originally picked, so the service tip would have been hers and he'd just stolen us away to his tables.
We ordered food, making it explicit many times that were were vegan. I ordered the yellow curry and my friend the stir fry with tofu, veggies, and no egg. We decided to get veggie dumplings as an entree.
The "dumplings" were the first to arrive. They looked like burnt hash brows-- small triangles made up of some undefined substance that were burnt black on the outside and poison green on the inside. Both of us ventured to try them and could not go further than a bite. We tried to complain to the server about the non-dumplingness of our dumplings and he just yelled something back at us and left.
My curry arrived first--a tiny bowl of greasy yellow liquid with a few limp cubes of tofu floating inside it along with a few pieces of carrot and pineapple. The taste was on, but the sauce was way too greasy for my liking.
My friend's stir fry came next--and it had chicken and no veggies. We asked the server to please change it, as she was vegan, and he told us that it had no meat, only chicken, and initially refused to change it or acknowledge that he had made a mistake. He finally took it back and the second one took twice as long to arrive--my food was cold by then. This time it had tofu and eggs. Still no veggies. My friend was tolerant of this and asked if she could at least get some veggies on the side. The server tried to argue and then returned with a plate with three microwaved baby carrots.
At this point we ordered the check and left.

Hanover might not have a lot of food spots, but it has ones significantly better than this. I would not recommend Tuk Tuk unless you want terrible service.

Pros: Big menu, inexpensive

Cons: Terrible service, Bad food
