Scrumptious - Edit
The lady selling them was super friendly. I ordered a mix between the tofu and taro/potato. I wasn’t super big on the tofu, but the other stuff was really good.

Very tasty, just not freshly made - Edit
We were expecting this stall to be closed because we couldn't find any recent information but it is open! We were quite hungry so shared the 100 baht option. Also a possibility to choose small and medium sized. The deep-fried potato with taro and the nice tofu chunks combined with the tamarind sauce and peanuts made for a very delicious snack. I only wish it was freshly made. Probably better to arrive earlier for fresh food.

Soooo good - Edit
Wow, really delicious snack!! The lady was so kind too. A shame about the plastic but what can you expect in Thailand, take a container with you if you have one!

wanted to love it - Edit
I went out of my way to find this stall because it sounded like my dream come true - fried tofu, taro fritters, tamarind sauce, and chopped peanuts! Yum! Some of my favourite foods. But unfortunately the tofu tasted slightly sour (maybe not too fresh) and the fritters were almost jaw-breakingly chewy! It was mid afternoon when I went so they might have been cooked hours ago and left out to go cold. Based on all the 5 star reviews, maybe it was bad timing. I didn't really enjoy it. Owners were lovely though! Happy to support them.

I think you definitely got a bad day..we arrived around 2 pm didn't try the tofu but the round fritters were a great snack after the 3hr drive from Chiang Mai

Best snack ever - Edit
The owner is absolutely lovely, she speaks English and she’s really helpful and nice. I got the small size and it was a lot, I ended up just eating that for lunch. Oh and it was delicious! The potato and taro was something new and too good, I wish I could have some more.

Food is honest and yummy. Are here every day while in Chiang Rai. People are super friendly. They understand allergies (I’m allergic to peanuts). Speak English.

Yummy food! - Edit
Owners were really nice and food yummy. The potato and tamarind chunks were the highlight. Location wasn't quite right but if you walk toward the location from the bus stop you should go past it. We went for the spicy option which was just the right amount of spice.
Read moreThey have different payment options 30, 50, 80 and 100. For the two of us we went for the 30baht then went back for more as it was so nice! As a snack 30 option is enough.

Tasty Snack - Edit
I was happy to find this on happy cow as I had a tofu craving and wanted to try something new. I was not disappointed. The fried tofu is chopped up with the bean/potato fritters and mixed with a slightly sweet sauce and some crushed peanuts. You can also specify the level of spice. I asked for a little but next time I would definitely request hot.

TOFU! ...and more - Edit
Super nice people! This is a good little snack(or meal) with a tasty little sauce. The marked location on the map is close, but just a bit off. To get there: no doubt that you will see the fruit stands, so just go down about 4 stalls from the main road, and on the right side you will find the tofu stall. They have three price options: 30, 40, or 50 baht.

Very nice vegan treat - Edit
I found this little place while picking up some fruit in the market. It is a takeaway that serves a tasty dish made up of fried potato mixed with taro and a side of tofu. They add this pad thai like sauce and you can have it as spicy as you like. They have a couple of chairs, speak very good english and are incredibly nice. A small dish is 30฿, medium 40฿ and large 50฿. It is walking distance from the night bazaar and the old bus station.
