So creative and so delicious - Edit
I have been here three times now (two anniversaries and today, my birthday) and every time I am so impressed by the creativity and deliciousness of everything. Usually in a meal with this many courses, there are one or two dishes that I like a bit less than the others, but not here. Literally everything was delicious! The combinations of flavors are so surprising, yet work so well together. The service is also outstanding. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion.

Tudore Tranquility is an amazing restaurant in all senses of the word -- I left there wondering why they don't have any Michelin stars yet. The food is outstanding and so are the staff -- the whole experience at Tudore Tranquility is just magical. I have been to several other high-end restaurants including Michelin-star restaurants and this is a restaurant that has the service and food that matches up without any overbearing pretense -- the staff members are friendly, polite, helpful and they don't try to flatter us. During the COVID-19 pandemic and the SoE in Tokyo they are only accepting one group per seating. My partner is thinking of hiring them for our vegan wedding. Highly recommended!!

Tudore Tranquility was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had the pleasure to encounter. And that's just what it was - not just a meal. Not just dinner. An experience - an elegant, beautiful one of high artistry, impeccable design, colors, taste and aroma... all of it simply cannot be described well in words, one has to be there to understand. Everything was perfect from start to finish. And I truly appreciated the accommodations made toward the requirements of being fully plant-based (as an anti-speciesist vegan myself), as well as for various allergies. I can't recommend them enough, and I'm truly grateful to the incredible Tudore Tranquility Team for everything.

It's not cheap at JPY12K/head tax but we were very full by the end despite each portion looking deceptively bite-sized.
The phone reservation was very easy to use (rarely the case in Japan!) and I quickly got a callback to confirm vegan/vegetarian/any preferences.

This was a very unique culinary experience. I would absolutely recommend it to any foodie, vegetarian or vegan or not, who would like an evening of fine dining. The food was art. The plating was art. And the man who took care of us in the dining room was quite literally one of the loveliest humans possible. The chef came out at the end and we talked about the meal and food in general. She clearly cares about what she is doing from both a taste perspective and a nutritional perspective and it shows in every bite. I particularly loved the savory foods and the wines. And even though the portions are appropriately sized for a set menu with so many courses, I left full. If it's within your budget to go but you're just not sure it's worth it then I would encourage you to go. It really is worth it.

Went for dinner with my wife and it was everything we hoped for and more. The food was phenomenal. I am Vegan and my wife is Vegetarian with several allergies. We were accommodated in every sense. The presentation, the taste and the ambience were top notch. Both the owner/chef and the maitre’d were super friendly, both spoke English and were very knowledgeable about the food.

This was one of the greatest meals I've ever had in my life. From start to finish the food were pure art. They seem a bit small at first but by the last dish I struggled to finish it because I was so full. Everything was served on these beautiful plates and cups you'll feel like royalty dining here. So first off, I thought Tokyo and Japan in general would be horrible for vegetarian. Not at all! So many great options! The top of the list is certainly Tudor tranquility! The food was amazing and 8 course to boot! The staff, presentation and food was perfect! A tad hard to find so leave time, we were late for reservation, it's in a very cool residential area. The good experience starts already when doing the reservation. Easy to make through the homepage (not usual in Japan...). As I forgot to reply to the confirmation e-mail, they called to confirm and also check if we were vegan or vegetarian and if there's anything we don't eat.
Read moreThe restaurant is in a mainly residential neighborhood. My friends taxi driver had a hard time finding it, so be prepared with google maps... It has a nice ambiance mixing the traditional white linen fine dining look with art work, flowers, and table setting with a colorful middle eastern feel. We were the only party in the restaurant (Sunday evening). At some restaurants this would make me feel uncomfortable or questioning if I made a bad decision going here. Here, however, we felt so comfortable and well-taken care off.
And of course, the food... Can't say anything other than wow! A wonderful journey through different flavors and textures, through which we were guided by a tentative and knowledgeable waiter. The wine list includes both vegan and non-alcoholic wines; we chose a 0% white wine which was fresh and went well with the food. Hard to pick a favorite dish, as everything from the creamy vegan roasted red capsicum soup we started with to the basil ice cream at the end were great.
At the end of the dinner, Mamta (the chef) came out for a chat and she was just as lovely as the food would suggest. As a last bonus, they also helped to order taxis for our trip home, ensuring a smooth end of the evening.

In every single aspect possible, Tudore Tranquility was perfect. Perfect service, perfect, ambient music, perfect food... Every single part of the meal was out-of-this-world delicious, so no words could ever adequately describe it. The attention to detail was supreme throughout, from the ability to request a fully vegan menu, to being asked for preferences in taste, to the decor and the food itself. Each dish was a piece of art in and of itself, together forming a majestic masterpiece of a bigger picture. I have never eaten anything as slowly and meticulously as I did on the occassion, since every single bite was a veritable treasure to be savoured. I even got the opportunity to talk with the wonderful chef herself, which I am most grateful for as well. I never before thought that I would say this about a restaurant with a price tag like this, but I can very honestly say that the visit, the experience, and not least the food itself was well worth every single yen I spent.

I went to Tudore Tranquility with my friend for a special occasion. We were looking for a delicious dinner in a luxurious setting and that is exactly what we got. The server treated us like VIPs from the moment we arrived. Each dish was presented beautifully and had a strong, yet natural flavor. What was great for me was the zero alcohol wine. As a non-drinker, it was the first time in my life that I was able to enjoy "wine" with a meal.

Enjoyed a delicious meal at Tudore Tranquility this past weekend. The presentation was beautiful and the atmosphere warm and inviting. I am not a vegetarian, although I eat a lot of vegetables and nuts and seeds in my diet. I enjoyed all the courses. My favourites were the soup, the dish with hemp seeds, and the basil ice cream. Tudore Tranquility cannot be compared to any other vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Tokyo...it is beyond comparison. Cozy, elegant, and yet very warm. You want to spend time here. The staff treat you like family and yet very professional and knowledgeable. The owner/chef makes time to say hello to each guest and has a beautiful energy about her. Now, the food.... very creative, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. A lot of care is taken to prepare the food. I loved the fact that we did not have to ponder over a menu as it is fixed. The food just kept coming. By the time you reach the end you will have no issue with paying because it is so worth it! You don't just have a vegan meal at Tudore Tranquility, you have an experience like no other. My guests, 3 of whom are meat eaters, and I had a great time! I was actually thanked for picking the place ... a first time for me. I usually don't get thanked for dragging friends along to vegan eateries. For sure, my favorite restaurant!! We will be returning without a doubt.

I've had some great vegan food in my 25+ years as a vegetarian/vegan but nothing quite like this. The owner/chef, Mamta, is truly a creative culinary genius. The flavors, textures, and presentation are all absolutely incredible. The atmosphere and service are top notch. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at Tudore Tranquility. However, please keep in mind that you get what you pay for. This level of dining experience does not come without a price - one which is more than fair in light of the value received.

This place is nothing short of perfect! Set in a quiet residential kind of area, make sure you have Google directions so you can find it as easily as we did (so, no excuses!). We went there on a Friday night and had the best multi-course vegetarian meal, possibly ever! Yes, it's expensive but oh so worth it!

The venue appears to be a non-smoking place, a massive plus! The seating is comfortable, well-presented and with an intimate atmosphere.
The staff were lovely (they speak English) and made the whole experience just magical. The owner was saying she had only more recently opened the place having been a catering business before and was trying to make more of an awareness of vegetarianism in Japan. Help her achieve this goal, you won't regret it!

I had brunch here last Sunday and it was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the acai crowder but really, everything was good. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the restaurant is decorated beautifully. The staff were very friendly and I had a nice chat with the chef - including about my hometown! It's a little expensive (not prohibitively so) but probably making Tudore a place best enjoyed for a treat or special occasion.

I have been in Tokyo for a while and have tried virtually all vegan / vegetarian place. I tried Tudore Tranquility out of curiosity as the price is quite high. I am so glad I did!! The food was so amazing - taste and presentation wise. The eggplant on cattage cheese with a crispy tofu roll was Mmmm...so good. Actually all the dishes were so good. The vegan persimmon Ice-cream was so, so good. Honestly, there is no restaurant in tokyo that matches this type of vegetarian food and service. Not only that but the owner, Mamta makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. You can see she genuinely wants you to feel at home and she really knows the food and ingredients that her chef prepares. It is definitely high end and yet when i left I felt I had been at a friends restaurant. I cam out with such a good feeling.Thank you Tudore Tranquility!
