Such an amazing experience as a vegan! Lots of vegan options on the menu, and multiple choices for vegan milks / drinks in general. The menu was really well-labelled, and staff were very knowledgeable on the food served: quickly and confidently answering questions on whether food was vegan with no judgement.

Read moreThe cafe is situated on a busy corner without parking. My guess is, in a previous life it was a bank, as there is a seating area inside and old vault. The menu is broken down into breakfast, brunch, baguettes, toasties, jacket spuds, salads & 'our favourites'. With the exception of the breakfast options within each heading there were 2 or 3 vegan options (as at Aug 25) Looks like perhaps the vegetarian breakfast could be made vegan as there are vegan sausages as an add on but you're best to check first. Vegan choices Inc ploughman's cheese & pickle baguette, smashed avocado on a poppyseed bagel, cheese & onion toastie, Mediterranean salad and bruschetta served on sourdough. They also have vegan ice cream.
Find a table, note the table number then go to the counter to order. We just ordered an americano & chai latte with oat milk. (Lots of plant milks available Inc almond milk) Service was swift & staff pleasant. Nothing on the menu jumped out as particularly interesting but if you're after something basic then this cafe is worth a try.
3 stars as most vegan options included cheese and l'm not a vegan cheese fan.

Had a yummy vegan sausage and caramelised onion baguette which came with lots of salad and vegan coleslaw! multiple options for jacket potato fillings and a few vegan cakes!

Four of the eight cakes on sale the day I went were vegan. They were also aware of allergens and catered for non vegans too. I had the chocolate and raspberry cake, and my partner had a vegan jaffa cake slice. Would give 5 stars!!

There are some fantastic vegan options across the whole menu. The staff are really helpful. Great value. It would be great to see vegan salad and sandwich options.

Came here for lunch and was delighted with the choices! Lost of vegan options to choose from and delicious vegan cakes! We went for the vegan and caramelised onion baguette and vegan pesto pasta salad! Very generous portions and baguette was served with a delicious vegan coleslaw, salad and nachos. The pesto pasta salad was big portion and absolutely gorgeous!!! Very reasonably priced! The decor was beautiful and such a friendly relaxed atmosphere! The staff were great and we had a really enjoyable meal! 10/10

Quirky venue serving good quality coffee. Staff where extremely friendly and happy to accomodate vegan choices - made a custom wrap for our 3 year old. They had a vegan wrap & a vegan platter for lunch options... also a chocolate brownie (nice, not too sweet) and a new york cheesecake.
