Vegan udon. Something LA is seriously lacking. Ramen is easy. Udon is not. - Edit
Full vegan menu. Udon, curry, and even chilled udon which is incredibly hard to find vegan. Very excited by this place.

it took me ages to give this place a chance, as it is not that close to me, and shojin (my favorite restaurant in los angeles) is 10 steps away, but i am so glad i finally did! this is straight-up tokyo alley-food (in the best way possible). the udon is made fresh daily, the curry is perfectly spicy, the tender vegan meat is a mix of sweet and savory, and the plant-based dashi broth is just an umami-bomb. tried the kitsune udon, yakiniku udon, (not-that) mini curry bowl, and vegetable tempura. literally everything is a 10/10--the best version of exactly what you'd hope for from this style of cuisine
