Staff were so friendly and helpful here. Beers were cold and glasses offered. A good selection of menu items but not too many to overwhelm. Gyoza were the highlight. Smokey, meaty and crispy!

Read moreA wonderful, cozy little restaurant with a small but well-curated menu. We went there right at 6 PM for dinner, and it quickly started filling up with more guests. The staff were super friendly and spoke great English.
We had two small appetizers and then our main dishes — everything was really delicious! I love spicy food anyway, so I was more than happy. The only thing I’d wish for is a slightly bigger portion (I’ve got a bit of an appetite 😅).
Price-wise, totally fair. Would definitely come again!

Loooved the gyoza - Edit
Super tasty, I had the red mapo tofu spice level 3 (中辛) and it was just the right amount of heat for me. We really liked the gyoza, they seem to use something to press them when cooking and the outside is really crispy and delicious. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area.

The whole family liked it, the gyozas was really good. I had the red chili mapo tofu with extra strength. Pretty hot and incredibly tasty.

Delicious vegan food and a really lovely, friendly waitress who was very helpful and spoke good English. I'm very tricky to accommodate as I'm both vegan and gluten-free - so no soy sauce, no vinegar etc. I explained my dietary requirements and the waitress chatted to the chef. She said the chef would make me tofu from scratch! I actually received four (yes, four!) different dishes. All were amazing. Very touched by this incredibly kind gesture. Plan to revisit before we fly back.

I don’t understand at all the raving reviews. The food was really really mid. We tried four different types of mapo tofu and none of them actually tasted like mapo tofu. They were not authentic at all and mixed with weird ingredients like paprika, tomato, peanuts, tahini, indian spices and even cheese…..? The gyoza were good and staff friendly. The ambiance was not great with loud RnB music. Overall very disappointing, I don’t recommend

Probably best vegan restaurant in Tokyo at present - Edit
Not really much need for a further review of this place after dozens of others, but just wanted to share my opinion as stated in title that this restaurant is probably the best vegan option in Tokyo at this present time, after sampling a pretty decent portion of the options available. Honorable mention also to Yuu Gyoza near Ueno. I’ve also yet to visit some very reputable places like Saido which require reservations long in advance.

As everyone recommended we ordered sichuan pwpper mapo todu with gyozas and grilled edamame as a starter. And ended with matcha tiramisu. Everything delicious and the waiter was very sweet. They have some interesting japanese beers as well.

Les gyozas, les edamames et les 2 mapos tofus goûtés (Sichuan et sésame) sont tous vraiment excellent. Le personnel était également très attentif et le service rapide. Nous n'avons pas eu a attendre alors que nous étions 3. J'y suis allée avec deux non-vegetarien et ils ont également adoré.
