I love this place. - Edit
This is my favourite restaurant in Tokyo. Maybe anywhere? I always get the soy milk ramen and it's never let me down. One day I will try something new. The owner is super friendly and has always welcomed be back over the last three years. It's always the first place I want to go when I am back in Tokyo. Everyone should try this. Really!

The Best Vegan Ramen Ever! - Edit
This was hands down the best vegan ramen I’ve ever had in my life. I tried almost everything on the menu—the soy milk, miso, shoyu (soy sauce), and even the taco ramen—and every single one of them was absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back here the next time I’m in Tokyo.
Read moreWhat surprised me most was the price. You can get most of their ramen bowls for around 1,000 yen! While many vegan restaurants in Japan tend to cater strictly to tourists, this place is completely different. It’s highly popular with the locals too. Highly, highly recommend!

Didn't understand the hype - Edit
Average ramen. Far from the best I've had in Japan. Not even the best in Tokyo. But cheap and quick.
Read moreI had the 'soy milk tantan' since he ran out of Tsukemen. Tantan should have sesame paste. Didn't feel like it had any, it tasted mostly of soy milk. The ramen is pretty empty too. I added soy meat which was basic.
I didn't like the noodles either. It's the cheap instant noodles type, that gets stuck all together.
It is pretty inexpensive. A large portion with soy meat cost me only 1300. But frankly, I think that T's Tantan is better. Surely more interesting.

Highly recommended - Edit
The tsukemen was sold out on the night I came, but it's hard to be disappointed about pivoting instead to what was genuinely the best ramen I've ever eaten. I had to wait a little outside as it's a small shop, but when I came in and sat down ready to hand my ticket to the chef, he was already preparing my order. This is one of those places where you feel like you're truly experiencing something extraordinary, someone who is an absolute master of their craft. The taste, the atmosphere and the service are all absolutely top notch.
Read moreDon't be like me and embarrass yourself by pouring water into the little glass that's actually for spoons. The one that's for drinking out of is a little more frosted.
The ordering machine outside doesn't take credit cards, only IC card and cash.

Best ramen in Tokyo - Edit
This place is a must try for all vegans in Tokyo. Ordering is made very simple with a vending machine that prints order tickets. Service is very fast and the owner is super friendly and speaks English. One thing to note is there are not many seats I believe only 8 so coming with a big group will be tough.

Outstanding! Subarashi!! - Edit
One man ramen legend, still with that old style ticket machine meal selector. Vegan options galore- seems actually fully vegan? They do state plant based explicitly. Seems like they take card too. Upsized both ramens and no regret. The noodles are thickkkk and soup is super tasty. The guy was quiet, he closed early, but it was a Sunday. If you’re in Tokyo please support this wonderful restaurant. 7 seats only but such an authentic experience!

Little ramen bar where you eat at the counter. Gaku, the owner, is from Hokkaido and is vegan himself. Three types of ramen that you order from a machine outside and then hand him the ticket. If you are having trouble he will open the window and help for sure. I had the soy sauce ramen and it has a great flavor. I definitely want to return on my next business trip to Tokyo!

The earth has given, indulge - Edit
It was not the mother, nor the offspring, which were contained in the meal. It was further not the newborn's life juice that I consumed at this place. I was filled by the flesh of earth itself, inanimate as it is but full of rage. The earth given pleasure was appreciated, yet my palate desired a degree of further stimulation, not to be attained at this here place. Alas, this is the human coffin I must rest in.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE vegan soy ramen! It was my favorite ramen during my 2025 trip. The noodles were thick and cooked perfectly. The broth was very flavorful. I appreciated the addition of kale on top too. Really nice owner who’s speaks English very well and helps you navigate the menu.

Tsukemen Zuppa is a must visit if you’re in Tokyo, we’re staying nearby so have come a couple of times. The owner is friendly and welcoming, shows you how to order and explains the food. Everything is or can be made vegan but vegetarians can add egg if they want. Lots of locals came in too when we were eating, so you get the small restaurant vibe that you feel you can’t access.
