Went here for afternoon tea. Red bean & strawberry cake was really nice and moist. Their chai was one of the spiciest I've had in my life.

Perfect Lunch Spot - Edit
We had the burger lunch set, one hot chai latte and a strawberry red bean cake. We also bought some cookies. Everything was delicious, and the owner is really nice! Especially enjoyed the glazed tofu and the side salad with different pickled toppings!

When I made an unplanned stop in Kurashiki, I wasn’t expecting much in the way of vegan food. Very pleased to have found this place. They only offer a set menu (plus a few cakes/cookies) but it was absolutely delicious and at a very reasonable price! I spent one month in Japan and this easily ranked in my top 5 meals.

I got their one menu item, the vegan meal set and it was so good I could have cried. EVERY SINGLE THING on the tray was cooked and seasoned to perfection. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We had an exceptional lunch here, such a hidden gem to stumble across after a day of sightseeing. Delicious lunch set, coffee, cakes and biscuits. You can tell the owner of this place puts a huge amount of effort into everything he does. Thank you so much again! Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best place we have been to, the food is amazing and the chef is best- he is the waiter, chef and cleaner doing everything so fast and efficient. The meal set is perfect no need for more options❤️Although he doesn’t hear well his costumers service is remarkable! Cannot recommend enough!!!!

This place is AMAZING ! Tucked away in the museum courtyard, offers delightful vegan food. Generous portions and really reasonably priced. Had one of our best vegan lunches here by far !

A fabulous and cosy restaurant in central Kurashiki - Edit
I visited this restaurant after having done a couple of loops in Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. It is among my top 10 restaurants in Japan at the moment I am writing this (I live in Japan).
Read moreI ordered falafels served with soup. The food was tasty and well-balanced. Furthermore, it was very inexpensive, compared to general prices of vegetarian/vegan food in Japan.
Even more so, the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed talking to a co-owner - a good talk and a good vegan food was all I wanted during the last day of my travel.

The restaurant is located inside Kurashiki local history museum. I ordered the curry set, it's delicious. They don't know that alcohol is not vegan. The pickles has alcohol, (they give me a list of ingredient) and the ice cream has wine. So, before you order, make sure the ingredients are okay. It's so wonderful to have vegan food around this area. Many Thanks to the owner, and Thank GOD.
