A branch of T's Restaurant offering the signature dish being tantan ramen. Choose from several ramen dishes and side dishes. Located inside ticket gate of Tokyo station (must buy platform ticket if coming from outside station). Follow the Keiyō Line signs inside the ticketed area until reaching Keiyō street. On the right hand side next to the escalators where it says “Keiyō Line (for Maiahama). There’s a big “Certified by Vegan” banner. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-9:30pm. Last order 9pm.

Loved this place

Tokyo Station is massive and we had difficulty finding this place, but we are so glad we did. I was little concerned because it was a chain, but food was fresh and tasty. We went back a second time during our trip, again we struggled find it. Unfortunately on our second trip it was a bank holiday weekend and there was a really long queue for tables, so we had to get a take away and take it back to our hotel and again enjoyed the food.

100% worth finding

Thank you Happy Cow community for convincing me this place was worth finding! (Japan Travel website has some useful instructions for that part)

Genuinely the best ramen I have had, although it is only my first day in Japan😄I had the golden sesame tantanmen special and matcha latte and it was fresh, delicious and creative!

The best in Gransta

We paid to enter the station with Suica just to enjoy the flavors of good veggie ramen. Ts Tam Tam is simple the best!

Great ramen in Tokyo Station

We had a great lunch here. The ramen was delicious and the gyoza were fine. The place can get crowded, but is very pleasant. Google maps can guide you to it in the station.

Hard to find and below average

I tried the golden _ ramen and the tantan ramen, but I was disappointed. The place was buried and really hard to find. The flavor of the broth was also lacking imo.

Delicious food!

This restaurant is difficult to find but well worth the effort. I asked at the Tokyo station information desk and they gave me a station map plus excellent directions. I found it easily!
The service is fast and the food arrived quickly. Lots of ramen choices plus gyoza, rice bowls, gelato, and drinks.

Delicious & fast

We couldn’t tell from the outside but there’s actually quite a lot of seating at this restaurant so the queue to get in went by quite fast. Tried 2 different ramen: golden and black sesame. Both were delicious but we both preferred the golden. Great toppings especially the vegan cheese! Also got gyoza which were delicious too.

One of the best things about Tokyo

This restaurant is such a treasure. My husband and I went there multiple times during our six-day stay in Tokyo. The yuzu ramen was excellent. I think it's seasonal and happens to be in season. Yuzu, a Japanese citrus fruit, has a distinctive taste, which will grow on you. If you get a chance, don't miss it.

The matcha and pistachio ice creams are also excellent. The gyoza is better, and more authentically Japanese, than at certain expensive vegan restaurants in Tokyo. The service is also impeccable.

If someone has the idea that being critical makes them look superior, they may see T's Tantan as an easy target. It is, after all, a fast food restaurant. But for anyone who appreciates good, healthy food that is affordable and reliably delicious, T's Tantan is a gem.

The restaurant is inside the area of the station that trains depart from. You have to either use your IC card or buy a ticket to get in. It costs 150 Yen for two hours. The directions in the restaurant description were very helpful.

Amazing place

The place isn't easy to find, but once you get there, it's a real treat! All the classics of Japanese cuisine, like ramen and gyoza, are available in vegan versions. You can even buy noodles and curry to take away.

Mediocre

After spending 2 hours wandering the station looking for it , English menus received and 2 orders put in. Five minutes later the staff returned saying the ordered items are only for takeout.
Weird and such crap planning and lousy communication.
Food we did get was distinctly average I am unimpressed to be honest.
Never again.

Cons: Price, Refused dishes we ordered, Lukewarm and bland

Good fast food

The broth is very flavorful. Spices are provided to adjust the spiciness. Overall a great place to have some quick warm food.

it was a little difficult to find in such a huge train station but we just followed directions listed online and sure enough got to eat some delicious food

Simple, yet Delicious!

With the exception of Starbucks, I believe this is one of the only vegan options in Tokyo Station and we were so thankful for it! We had to pass through Tokyo station twice due to our itinerary so it was a great option for lunch. Although this place is known for their ramen, we got the Gyoza Rice Bowl both times. It’s such a great meal—fried gyoza and delicious sticky rice with a little ball of vegan cheese! We loved that it was mild (no sauce)but still had awesome flavor. The seitan was perfectly seasoned and the portions are very fair. 10/10

Great food, a bit of a pain to find but just follow the instructions on hungry cow and you’ll be fine

It's great place offering a selection of filling dishes, the prices are reasonable and depending on what you take you really don't have to spend much compared to non-vegan places. The only downside may be that you need to be prepared to reaaaally take a good walk to get there.

Great Fast Food

T's Tantan is deservedly Japan's most famous vegan restaurant, and it's great to be able to get vegan food inside Tokyo Station. But it's fast food, and this inevitably limits the type of food and dining experience.

Great options

I liked this restaurant very much, the main dishes are ramens but you can also get some gyozas, rice or other sides.
A little bit uncomfortable to have to get inside the station to get in but not a big deal.
Free water served with the meal, very reasonable price (less than 10 euros for my meal in pic)

Awesome

This place was great. Multiple ramen options plus sides. I got the black sesame tantanmen an a mini char siu bowl on the side and both were great, very filling. I could have done without the side and still been full.

Place to be für Vegane Ramen in Tokyo

Dieser Ort ist das Paradies für Veganer*innen. Eine absolute Topauswahl an wirklich günstigen und leckeren Ramen und Sidedishes. Die Gyozas sind auch sehr zu empfehlen. Praktisch gelegen in der Tokyo Station (Achtung: man muss per Suica Card bzw. andere Karte durch die Schranken). Super netter Service und absolut günstige Preise für große Portionen. Wir waren mehrfach hier, auch die Bento Box ToGo und die Muffins sind sehr zu empfehlen. Würden jederzeit mehrfach wieder kommen. 😍

Loved it

This place is so convenient as it is inside the station. I got the rice bowl - very tasty and my friends got ramen dishes. Even tastier! Their gyoza were also delicious.
