Great ramen, extremely fast service - Edit
Since it's situated in a train station, they cater mostly to commuters and timing can be important. If you're not taking the train from Ueno, you can buy a platform ticket for ¥150 to get inside the station. My food was served to me in about 3 minutes after I ordered it, and it didn't lack in quality. The gyozas are a nice side dish, but they seem to sell out quickly. They also had some really nice gelato as dessert, flavors strawberry, matcha or pistachio, which I recommend trying.
Read moreT's Tantan also makes vegan cup noodles in three different flavors. You can buy those in this store as well as at Natural Lawson.
If you have allergies, the restaurant is still able to cater if you ask about it. Almost all dishes contain peanuts as an allergen but not as a core ingredient (I think they use peanut oil). If you're like me and can't stand the taste of peanuts but aren't allergic, I recommend reading the ingredients on the menu carefully as some dishes (such as the golden sesame tantan) do contain peanut cream.

Amazing flavour, healthy, served instantly! Was ‘profiled’ (offered a fork) but I can laugh at that.

Would recommend - Edit
Easy to find in ecute shopping centre if coming from Ueno Park direction, difficult if from other side of station, you have to go through JR ticket gates, go to platform 8 and climb stairs to 3rd floor, you will come to ecute, restaurant is quite far in (near to exit onto the park).
Read moreFood was delicious - I had golden ramen, my mum had rice bowel with delicious soy meat.
They also have vegan ramen pots available. Not yet eaten these but I got several because the ramen in the restaurant is so nice and you can’t find anything like this for an easy meal in a normal convenience store.
Pros: Delicious food, Friendly service, Vegan ramen pots available to buy

Favorite T's location - Edit
Location: Inside Ueno Station. You'll need to card in or pay to enter the station (the fee is nominal, I think 200 yen). Because this station is on the smaller side, it's much easier to find T's.
Read moreThis is also the nicest of all the T's I've gone to (Tokyo being 2nd, Ikebukuru 3rd). Still feels like a ramen spot in a train station, but has the most restaurant feel out of the three.
Food-wise, the cold lemon ramen (a seasonal item, unfortunately) completely blew me away. Tangy, with avocado, came with lemon slices as well and a side of tomato sauce with olives (interesting choice). The sesame ramen was good as always.

Station food never tasted so sweet - Edit
The food is worth the eternity of walking around Ueno station looking for T’s Tantan. That peanut butter / sesame Ramen is delicious. Would recommend a side of the “playdough” like cheese balls for a fulfilling meal.

Good Ramen / good price (+ how to get there!) - Edit
It wasn’t that trivial to find it. An explanation follows (including pictures).
Read moreBut fist the food: They have a few choices of vegan ramen. I tried the black sesame Tantan, added extra noodles, mock meak and 6 Kyoza (as they only had 6 Kyoza left).
I liked all of it! Will go again and try the other Ramen flavors too, as many as possible.
Price is also quite good. Paid around 13-14€ for everything described above.
They also sell vegan noodle boxes that I liked a lot for 250 ¥ each and vegan cookies for 500 ¥.
**** Here is how you get there:
1. You have to buy a visitor pass at the green vending machine (left to the pink ones), it cost 150 ¥.
2. Go inside the station (behind the ticket control) and head to 3rd floor (3F), it’s at line 8/9 to get up there.
3. the store is over line 8, so if you are at line 8 and you don’t see it it’s probably on the other side of the building, just follow the track.
Pros: Vegan Ramen! , Kyoza , Vegan noodle boxes for a good price

Delicious tantan at a quick, friendly restaurant - Edit
We decided to try this place out since we were staying close to Ueno Station. The description is accurate stating the food court is above platform 8 of the JR Ueno Station, but it fails to mention that JR charges ¥150 for access if you're not arriving by train into the station. Keep this in mind.
Read moreWe found the restaurant after wandering about a bit and there were only a few people in line ahead of us. We decided on what we wanted to order based on the menu board outside, but perused the menu once we got inside. We decided to try the Golden Sesame Tantan and Mini Bowl with Char-Siu and share a side of Vegetable Gyoza. The tantan was very tasty and the broth was good enough to completely finish. Not too salty as we have experienced in the past. The char-siu mini bowl was also very tasty, and the gyoza were pretty good.
Service was quick and efficient, and they were able to answer our questions about the menu. We were there near closing, so they came around and asked if we had any final orders we wanted to place before the kitchen stopped preparing.
The tantan was very good and there were several things on the menu I wanted to try, but we didn't make it back this trip. I highly recommend visiting this place, either at this location or any of the others. It looks like all of them are located inside JR stations, so I would expect the ¥150 to apply unless you're arriving by JR train.
Pros: Delicious food, Fast, efficient and friendly service
Cons: ¥150 admission if not arriving by JR train

Don‘t get the high reviews here - Edit
I had a rice bowl with sone additional side. Wasn‘t impressed - it tasted pretty unfinished before I asked for some soy sauce. It wasn‘t bad, just really pretty beginner level, so I am a bit amazed by the other reviews being so positive. My partner had a ramen and liked it better - maybe that is the secret good dish here? 🙂

Ramen was good, everything else wasn't. The soy chicken was bland and the rice bowl was tasteless without soy sauce.
