A branch of T's Restaurant with signature dish being tantan ramen. Offers also gyoza, salads, curry, and soy meat meals. Limited menu mornings, full menu from 10am, last order 30 minutes before closing. It's inside JR Ueno Station in Ecute shopping center on the 3rd floor, above platform 8 at the northern part of the station. Reported closed May 2025.

This is really yummy ramen.
Read moreI had the golden sesame dish and also tried the black sesame dish too. Both were delicious. The black sesame has a little spiciness. The noodles are yummy.
I also ordered the char siu and my travel buddy ordered the gyozas with rice. I highly recommend the gyozas, some of the best I’ve ever tried, however the char Siu was disappointing as there was only one piece of soy meat with no sauce. Perhaps it stated that on the menu and I just didn’t see it. It tasted good anyway but I wouldn’t buy it again.
Also I couldn’t see a drinks menu at all or a dessert menu. Soy yoghurt was being served as part of a meal deal with one particular seasonal dish. There was only gyozas, char siu, rice and some vegan cheese as sides.
It’s a shame you have to buy a ticket to eat here. I specifically came to try out this restaurant but it would be nice for it to be available outside a station too😄

It was delicious and cheap! Got the special Sakura set😄everything was very fast and tasty, but really really REALLY hard to find the place, I was very stressed with that and almost giving up... But from today is closed due to rebuilding.

Wir wussten nicht, dass man das Restaurant nur findet, wenn man sich einen Bahnticket kauft, auch wenn man nicht fahren will. Somit zahlt man 150 Yen pro Person extra nur dafür. Das Essen war schön angerichtet aber wir hatten in anderen Restaurants, wo es nur 1 Ramen für veganer gab, viel authentischeres und leckeres Essen. Waren etwas enttäuscht.

Excellent vegan ramen, loved by my non-vegan friends as well, in a convenient location in Ueno Station. The noodles came in a generous portion, with varied and fresh toppings and a decadent creamy broth. The gyoza were crispy and flavorful as well. Prices were reasonable (1200-1300 yen per bowl of ramen), the ambience was warm and welcoming, and service was fast. Note that the last order is at 9:30 pm. They accept credit cards.

Quite difficult to find, since you need to navigate through Ueno Station. It was totally worth it tho! The ramen was very good and the gyozas did not disappoint as well.

This was our first meal on arrival in Japan and it was so good! We only waited about 10 minutes before being seated. I had the special Sakura ramen with pink noodles, my partner had the black sesame, and we split some gyoza - all 10/10. It’s near the Park Gate - if you come through that entrance and walk straight ahead, it’s just past the NewDays.

when I arrived there was a long line but thankfully it is close to a piano and there were lots of people performing beautiful music at the busy station so I listened to them for a while and watched the line get shorter.

I had dreamed of authentic Japanese Ramen for months before our trip to Japan. This place lived up to all my dreams. The Ramen was incredible. So good that I bought their Ramen pots to have when we return home. You could go to any of T’s restaurants and get a great meal.

if you want these super tasty food, you have to search like indiana jones.😉but here the advice: check in the JR Lines - not the metro lines. go to plattform 8 and then the stairs up, right the corner. but attention, there are 2 stairways up. you have to test it.

If you’re willing to hunt for it, you’ll be rewarded with an exceptional meal.
