Fab range of vegan options for Caithness! - Edit
It’s not flash, but the food is delicious. Really friendly owner. The starters and the spinach and lentil curry and roti were beautiful.

Delicious - Edit
Lovely little gem, quite unexpected. You reach it by going down and alley and up some stairs. I had the okra curry and my mum had the vegetable kottu (which was amazing). Delicious food and friendly staff.

A lovely surprise in Thurso - Edit
Arriving in Thurso after a day's train travel, we were excited to find this little place was open in the evening. We chose two vegan curries, chickpea and okra, a portion of rice, and a vegetable kottu. Everything was delicious but the kottu, which we'd never had before, was a revelation - a bit like a pasta dish but with narrow strips of cut-up roti bread instead of the pasta.
Read moreA word of warning - the curries are pretty spicy. We like very hot food but our digestions can't cope so well these days, so next time we'd ask for mild rather than medium spiced curries, much as we enjoyed these!
Delightful waitperson and a chef who obviously takes a lot of pride and interest in his work. Very reasonable prices too.

very good - Edit
It is one of those places you go in and know you're in for amazing authentic cuisine or food poisioning. back through a small alley side entrance, upstairs in a private looking stairwell, very steamy, spicy air with a private living room/lounge area with telly next to the bar, menue in a plastic binder.
Read moreThe food was fantastic. big vegan section, freshly cooked, veggies still a bit crispy, quite spicy with tons of spices. Big portions and very cheap as well, friendly staff. highly recommendet!

Absolutely delicious - Edit
Went here for diner. The vegan and vegetarian options are clearly labeled. There were quite some options. Especially for the curry's with 10 (!!!) different Ceylon curry's to choose from. Went with the vegetable rolls for a starter and the sambar curry with rice for a main.
Read moreThe portions are plenty and the flavors are amazing.
We paid 38 pounds for 2 starters, 2 mains with rice and paratha and 2 beers. Would definitely visit again!
