Definitely my favorite place in Huê, and probably top 3 best places I ate in Vietnam. Very delicious, super affordable & adorable owners. Highly recommend

Wonderful vegan Vietnamese homecooking - Edit
Also known as "Quán ăn chay Trường An." We loved this little restaurant! Our homestay host recommended this as a great nearby vegan option. The menu is only in Vietnamese, but there are pictures and Google Translate got us the rest of the way there. The owner did not speak any English but we were able to point at the menu to show what we wanted. We ordered multiple dishes including deep-fried tofu and braised eggplant and they were all amazing. The deep-fried tofu was breaded and incredibly crispy. The menu is extensive; we opted not to translate every page and use the pictures to help us limit our choices. Three menu items and two drinks for 91,000 VND. Fabulous food at a great price. We would definitely come here again if we return to Hue.

Extensive menu. Tofu rolled in seaweed, eggplant grilled with chilli and peanuts, vegan com hen with rice crackers, spring rolls were our choices. All delicious, all 20,000 VND. Corn drink and beer on the drink menu.
Quiet, very clean, humble friendly staff. Menu has images for all items, so despite it all being written in Vietnamese it’s easy to identify dishes.
I will return! It is delightful to visit a restaurant with Buddhist ethics of not killing / harming any living beings.

Menu in vietnamese, lots of options - Edit
The whole menu is in Vietnamese and the people only speak vietnamese so it's really hard to communicate. Half of the food we ordered was really good, the other half had no taste.

Ordered cap lau mi and banh LOC and it's both delicious. The best I had in Hue and mid Vietnam. The woman is really nice and explains how to eat it.

I was surprised nobody on here has discovered this gem yet! Their food was delicious and ladies who work there quite friendly (lots of smiles). I really felt welcome!
