The soya soup was delicious and the ramen was springy! However, I feel that the dumpling quite have been slightly more flavourful :-)

Amazing Herbal Porridges - Edit

After the stall has shifted from stall 2 to 15, to a larger space, they have stopped making the curry dishes for the time being to focus on promoting their rice porridges.

• Signature Claypot Dang Gui Soya Porridge
• Organic Soya Vegetable Soya Porridge

We got to try the porridge some people have been raving about! My Boyfriend and I tried the Signature Claypot Dang Gui Soya Porridge ($8.80) because of the herbal ingredients - and it was so good! A well blend of herbs, peanuts and mushrooms made it smell and taste amazing 😍 totally exceeded my expectations. Would definitely go for seconds or third 😊

We also tried the Spicy Dry Ramen, which just has a mild spiciness to it. You can opt to have meesua noodles for this dish instead. The serving size of the bak kut teh was big, enough for 2 person. The Bak Kut teh includes 4 different types of mushrooms - straw mushrooms and Portobello mushrooms, and also ingredients like tau kee and lettuce. You can opt to have meesua Noodles, white rice or brown rice for this dish instead.

Pros: Fully Vegan, Close to MRT Station

Cons: Very crowded during lunch/dinner

The food is good but they don't serve any drinks and they don't seem to do so at any place at the food junction.

Delicious vegetarian meals - Edit

Enjoyed the chickenless cutlet curry with brown rice a great deal. Decent portions and served with a healthy side of fresh vegetables such as broccoli florets. The owner kindly brought over a complimentary top up of curry - very thoughtful!

Pros: affordable, well balanced meals, a choice of noodle and rice dishes

Cons: may be hard to get a seat in the food court at pea

YES! 非素不可!(Truly Vegetarian) - Edit

Eating Vegan food is the in thing now. Melbourne has become one of the vegan capitals of the world. In Singapore, there are more and more Vegan eateries serving delicious Vegan food and Truly Vegetarian is one of them. Mainly plant-based, with some mock on the menu for those who love mock meat or just enjoy it occasionally.

Here, I’ve the vegetarian version of Bak Kut Teh that I like a lot and is served in claypot to keep the soup warm – Shrooms Bak Kut Teh for $8.8. With an assortment of ingredients like different type of mushrooms, beancurd skin, black fungus and very little mock meat. Enjoying it with fluffy rice or go with Ramen or Mee Sua.

Another stand-out dish is Chickenless Cutlet Curry Rice at $7.8. A dish with not-so-spicy curry (maybe like Japanese Curry) and topped with a crispy yet chewy mock chicken cutlet that add texture. There are also good variety of side dishes like blanched vegetable, tofu, dumpling, braised mushroom etc, at reasonable price (from $3) to add to your meal.

For soya milk lover, Soya Ramen at $7.8, is served in a very rich soya milk broth and gives a feeling of fullness. For me, I find the soya milk taste too overwhelming and I’m not quite use to salty soya milk yet in Ramen yet.

Pros: Good location

Healthy, fresh with brown rice option - Edit

The menu is simple with just the right amount of options of soup, rice mains (with the option to choose brown) and a couple of fresh veggie and tofu side dishes. The food was not extensively seasoned and the flavours of the fresh ingredients came through nicely.

Fulfilling food , friendly service - Edit

A truly vegetarian food stall in the food junction in bugis mall. There were a variety of food to choose from, from rice to noodle, Thai to Nonya to Chinese. I had the chickenless cutlet vege rice. The curry was exquisite!! Only mildly spicy and the portion was adequate. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. He took effort to personally explain the dishes and offer suggestions too. Big thumbs up to this stall

Pros: Variety of options, Correct spice level

Cons: The noodle soup portions were quite small, The accompanying soup was nothing great

Tasty food, friendly service; not overly focused on mock meat - Edit

I've been here a few times time and found the portions on the generous side. I really enjoyed the dry mee sua and the "bak kuh teh". I appreciated the menu being about veg and less about mock meat. Jeffery the owner is friendly and trying hard to succeed by opening up more options for vegans/vegetarians in this food court. They deserve support and feedback if you have issues.

Pros: Dry mee sua, Bak kuh teh, location

Cons: Can get very busy at lunch time rush hour.

Small portion - Edit

Paid over 6S$ for a bowl of noodles that filled not even half of the bowl, shameful, I had to buy another lunch in another place after remaining hungry.

Cons: The smallest portion of food ever served in a rest
