It's all about the BNB

TrueNorth Health Center is all about staying there and getting the education, fasting (if applicable), and resetting the palate to end the addiction we have to finding pleasure in hyper-stimulating foods. They do have limited items available to purchase for take-out in the lobby at certain times, but always call ahead to see what's on hand. Don't expect fancy, gourmet, salty, oily vegan food. It's actually healthy, and likely not what many are used to. Once the palate is truly reset, this food takes on a whole new meaning. If you want to actually get healthier than anyone you know, book yourself a stay here, do a water-fast, get the education and psychological help if necessary, and thrive like you never have. Also definitely read their book "The Pleasure Trap".

Pros: The #1 place on Earth to learn cutting edge health, The #1 place on Earth to fast medically supervised, The #1 place on Earth to escape "The Pleasure Trap

Cons: Requires major effort and some extended time, You will think it's bland at first, Impossible to return to the unhealthy life before

Call Ahead

We had driven two hours to visit during lunch as we wanted to try a couple of options before deciding if we wanted to purchase their delivery services.

We went based on the information on their website. What a mistake. It seems it may not be entirely accurate.

We parked in a gravel lot beside the building and then entered the double doors of the main building.

When we entered we saw a desk, various skin care products and supplements in a case and to the far back left of the room we what appeared to be a drink case which was empty but lit up and on. There was no signage.

We inquired with the lady at the desk about the health kitchen. We had never been here before and didn't know if this was the correct area. She responded by looking dumb founded. We then said the deli case and she pointed to a small refrigerator in the corner of the room which was empty.

The lady advised they didn't have any due to the recent power outages... They clearly had power at the time of our arrival and they run a health center which requires constant power. One would conclude they had a backup source.... It seems they do not make food every day for the case otherwise they would have had food as they clearly had power.

We visited on a Saturday around noon.

It seems they don't often receive visitors for the 'deli case' as the lady at the desk seemed surprised by our inquiry. We strongly recommend calling ahead to inquire about availability and pricing.

We were also not impressed by the staff during our interaction or others which we witnessed while waiting in line. The staff member seemed not very well informed or organized. We hope this is a one off and not a pattern.

Pros: Food Delivery service via their partners

Cons: Not always available CALL AHEAD, Uninformed staff
