Delicious but pricey - Edit
Trueberry is an all-vegan, organic cafe with locations in Naka-Meguro and Omotesando. They specialize in juices and smoothies, but they have a few savory options as well.
We paid a visit to the Omotesando location to satisfy a sweet tooth. I got the L size of the cacao smoothie, assuming it would be small, but it turned out to be bigger and richer than I thought 😅 Unless you’re really hungry, I think the S size should be enough.
I enjoyed my smoothie quite a bit and I think you will too, but the prices may keep you from being a repeat customer. 😓

Great fruity breakfast! - Edit
Good options for hot and cold, fresh and light, decadent or simple. Lots to choose from! Cute little place, would recommend visiting close to open time to be guaranteed a seat. Easy to find, all the food we tried was delicious! If in the area, would visit again

Read the Vegan Tokyo Guide on https://itravelforveganfood.com/vegan-tokyo-guide/
Read moreTrueberry is a vegan chain that serves smoothies and some simple food items. It’s targeted to more health conscious customers. The smoothies use natural and organic ingredients, including superfood like acai and lucuma. And they taste pretty good. Although some of them are quite expensive at above 1000 yen.
They also have some simple dishes like salad and wraps. Usually each branch has a few seats.
Pros: All vegan smoothie shop, Delicious and healthy items
Cons: A bit on the pricey side

Nice smoothie bowls - Edit
Enjoyed the acai smoothie bowl as a light lunch, which was perfect on a sunny day like today. I also had a jazzy carrot cold pressed juice. Both very good but a bit pricey. A very small place with few seats, but most people have takeaway I guess. Friendly staff.

Parfait - Edit
Visited three times having the parfait each time. Tried the strawberry, cacao and the mango. The strawberry and mango both have granola so are quite filling. Had this for lunch and was great on a warm day.

Really tasty! - Edit
Came here with my partner yesterday for lunch and was really happy with the friendly service. I speak a limited amount of Japanese (although do try my best!) and the waitress was able to understand me and speak English too. I had the Italian soup and a little round of bread from the fridge, followed by the strawberry parfait. Both were very fresh and absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back!

Whole, delicious food - Edit
I’ve only been to the Hiro-o location that has since closed, but the menu at Trueberry kept me coming back time and time again. The whole ingredients with fresh fruits and vegetables made me feel full, but energized and ready to sightsee in Tokyo. I went back here at least 3 times within a week. Love this restaurant!

delicious smoothies! I had the whipped cacao raw smoothie. Tasted like dessert but all natural ingredients. The cafe atmosphere was welcoming. Would love to go again.

Acai bowls - Edit
Back home the acai bowls come with granola and stacks of fruit so these were a bit light on toppings by comparison, maybe because fruit is so expensive in Tokyo. Still tasty and fresh though. Nice atmosphere & decor. Quite expensive.

vegan cafe - Edit
Lovely little cafe with two friendly staff. My partner and I ordered the vegetable wrap, raw sandwich, banana chocolate crepe, and a couple smoothies. The wrap and sandwich are you typical vegan vegetable and hummus cafe type sandwich, they were a tad dry, however they provided a dressing for them which helped. The crepe was delicious. The smoothies are good too. However this place is expensive as heck. It total bill amount to about $50 USD. The portions are rather small too, which is typical of Japan. They have some lunch specials but we weren't around at that time to try them Final thoughts: I had an okay experience here, I will probably not be coming back here unless I'm in the neighborhood.

Great if you want smoothies/açai bowls but not other food - Edit
They have a massive selection of vegan smoothies, juices, and açai bowls, so it’s perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. There wasn’t really any other food options apart from pancakes, which were too cakey.

Nice - Edit
This is a shop that belongs to the Ain Soph group - 100% vegan. Trueberry specialises on cold pressed juice and açai-type bowls. They also have salads and some sweets. I had a green juice and a bowl which were fine. Being someone who makes juices and smoothy bowls at home I found the price to be excessive and the food was nice but nothing special. The shop is small so better to go alone or in twos.

Amazing food and drinks - Edit
I love this chain, Trueberry. The açai bowls are delicious (tried 2 varieties of more), and the cold pressed juices are also exceptional. All the menu is paradise to me, more than 30 kinda of smoothies classified by superfood, almond milk, soy milk, amazake, etc. Warm and cool. Also sells food as in small meals but haven’t tried yet. All 100% vegan and organic. I tried the açai bowls, the green juice and a amazake, maquiberry smoothie (wouldn’t repurchase last one). You can eat in or takeaway. I stopped to drink in but with the sound of the blender it was really noisy. Friendly staff. Only drawback is that it’s expensive, so thank the wallet God that I live far from these shops. But once in Tokyo, I’ll always crave something from them! I wish there were more of these shops and that they were more affordable for everyday! Thank you
