Long waiting times - Edit
We waited 65 minutes for our starters and 80 minutes for our main course.. the waitress told us that it was going to take a while but didn’t mention that we would have to wait for an hour and a half. The Burger my boyfriend had to order because the homemade tagliatelle would’ve taken another 30 minutes, ordered missed a few ingredients and wasn’t too flavourful (bean patty, cold sweet potato fries). I ordered the vegan ravioli which ended up being zucchini instead of dough - the flavour was okay, the sauce was intense. The starter was very small and not worth the price, but the sauce was delicious! Sadly only two stars because of the long waiting time for something that definitely doesn’t take that long .. and all of the other 10 customers had to wait for 90 minutes as well!

Slow and unimpressive - Edit
We waited 30 mins for drinks and almost an hour for our food. We were the only people in the restaurant when we ordered. When the food came and was a little cold and totally unflavoured. Really disappointed, especially as this is quite an expensive restaurant for Faro. It’s the closest I’ve ever come to returning the food and not paying. We actually went somewhere else afterwards to eat.
Read moreThe only saving grace was the waitress who was friendly, but obviously struggling a bit and the spicy sauce which was surprisingly good.
The menu and location has a lot of potential, I hope they can use this feedback to improve.

Great dish and super nice waitress - Edit
I didn't read the reviews of the place before going there and I am glad I didn't., since it doesn't reflect my experience. I loved the mushroom meatballs on zucchini pasta, it was amazing. Spoiler alert: The meatballs taste a bit like gingerbread, surprisingly good! The vegan cheesecake and the vegan mousse au chocolat were great as well. We had a nice conversation with the waitress who was the cook's niece. The cook is not vegan but she is much into health and also tries to make most of her dishes vegan. The vegan ravioli were not as good but still good in my opinion.

It takes a lot to get better :( - Edit
Nice place, food was really tasty, but super small portion, so after a soup and the main course we left hungry. Service was friendly, however slow, chaotic and didn't speak English well, so when I wanted to change one ingredient, I got it anyway...

Not tasty - Edit
Several vegan, many vegetarian options and one dish that contains meat 😩 The chef is not vegan nor vegetarian which probably explains the quality of food. Everything we ordered (tried the vegan dishes only) was very bland and the design of the dishes was really random. The staff was friendly, but the food was far from great.

Not good ... - Edit
This is my first negative comment I write. I hate to do this but I wish somebody had told me before. The food is a disaster. I had the zucchini noodles with the nut-balls. The presentation of the plate was already devastating. The raw zucchini noodles weren’t even cut in noodles. So it was just raw zucchini pieces. The sauce was kinda raw too and the balls also. The only good thing was the waiter who was really nice but also really inexperienced. I after heard that neither cook or owner are vegan or vegetarian and it shows.
Read moreNot a good place to go. We also had a lime cheesecake. I better don’t comment on that one.
Cons: not good food. , Inexperienced waiters.

Beautiful and very tasty food - Edit
True food is a small but very friendly place with mostly vegan options, and some vegetarian also. All foods are gluten and lactose free, and almost everything is homemade, including their ice tea, alfarroba bread and desserts.
Read moreThe lady who served us is very friendly and the meals have really good presentation.
We had the tofu stir fry (tofu salteado), which was recommended and is absolutely incredible! The taste is truly divine!!! The other dish was ‘meatballs’ with zucchini spaghetti and walnuts, it was not as amazing in flavour, but we also liked it.
However, they use a bit of ghee in their dishes (I was told by the lady). I was a bit upset because ghee is clarified butter from milk (without lactose). Not vegan.
So, please ask not to add ghee!

I love this place! Especially the way they mix spiecies! - Edit
We had vegetable soup, vegan&gluten free ravioli and tufu-fry with vegetables. The way the chef mixes the spices and the dried fruits makes the dishes very tasty! They also serve alcaline water (plastic free😄) and the balsamic vinegar is organic (made in Italy).

We accidentally found this restaurant when we were walking by. We had the vegan ravioli, it wasn't what we were expecting but we enjoyed it. It was a light meal but that's what we wanted. We will likely be back.

Had the vegan ravioli, and even though it was tasty, it wasn’t really ravioli. It was also pretty expensive for a fairly simple dish. Had to wait a long time to order and to get the food

Not what one expexted - Edit
The service is exeptionally bad. The waiter didn‘t even ask us if or what we wanted to drink before he ran away. Overall he seemed a bit strange and not very competent. We tried to order tea from him, what seemed to get him kinda confused. Best point about that was that he only realized the tea we chose was currently out after we were already done with eating (!), even though we reminded him of our missing drinks several times. We also waited quite a time for the food, which wasn‘t much pleasing. The crust of the (gluten-free) pizza was so hard to bite I even hurt myself a bit and the pizza in general wasn‘t well salted, so it tasted like tortilla chips without the salt. Toppings were rare, it was almost just the crust. Moreover it wasn‘t possible to cut it into pieces due to its crunchy consistence. We were still so hungry after out visit, we had to go to a normal pizzeria and order pizza without cheese to make it vegan - which was much better. Also, the waiter calculated our bill wrong.

Loved eating in this wee restaurant! Super fresh&organic, plenty vegan options! - Edit
Really cute little place, good prices, extremely fresh produce used, vegan ‘dish of the day’ for a cheaper option, lots of vegan cakes on display over and above the vegan dessert options 💖 soup of the day was pumpkin and for €2 incredible value AND delicious!! Had the white salad and a coconut milk latte too and everything was perfection

Good but nothing Special - Edit
Small lactose& glutenfree Restaurant in a hidden lane that offers vegeterian, a few vegan options and one with Bacon. The staff was very friendly and the food was good but a little too "healthy" tasting. We had the miso soup, a pizza and the Ravioli. The miso soup tasted more like a good vegetable broth and the Ravioli were without Pasta but made out of Zucchini and stuffed with eggplant and a delicious tomato sauce. Overall, it was good but i would probably not visit again.

Could’ve definitely been better - Edit
There were some reasonably priced vegan options which was nice. I got the zucchini/eggplant dish and my partner got the vegan pizza. The food tasted okay and we were both not full after. The food felt like it took a very long time to get to us, when it was only us two and one other person in the restaurant. To add to the negative experience/atmosphere, they were cooking bacon twice while we were eating there. If the smell of cooking bacon is offensive to you as it is to us, I’d highly recommend you don’t eat here
