Excellent all vegan restaurant - Edit
The homemade hamburger was amazing and the owner was very gracious. She also served lentil based bread. That was delicious. My husband had the soup and thought it was very good. #Veganuary

Delicious food - Edit
The food was really good, we had the tofu, vegan ravioli and the pizza in vegan and for dessert the cheesecake, which was the best part. So food was super delicious and it’s a nice location. We just had to wait for a looong time, that was a bit annoying.

Mostly vegan/ vegetarian menu - Gluten free - Edit
We visited this place 3 times during our stay in Faro. Everything that we have ordered tasted really good and was freshly made.
Read moreWe tried the daily soup - which is made of mixed vegetables, the vegan Pizza with pesto - which had fresh salad on top and had a very good vegan cheese,
Risotto and vegan kebab - those were also really good but take some more time to prepare.
The staff is very friendly and explains everything on the menu.
And of course they have several vegan desserts too, which you shouldn't missout if you go there - especially the vegan banoffee pie is very recommendable.

A nice place with cool options, big portions and special service. A bit slow, but they’re preparing the food fresh so I understand. I’m happy with the options and the taste. The prices are normal.

Vegan kebab - Edit
Had dinner at True food tonight. Menu offers many vegan options. I had the vegan kebab. Staff was a bit chaotic and forgot things like cutlery and giving back change. Food was ok, I liked the kebab but the fries were ‘swimming’ in the oil of the sauce of the kebab.

nice scenery, slow service - Edit
painfully slow and forgetful service. my main course (which took 20 minutes) arrived before the starter (bread) and 15 minutes before my partners meal arrived. slow staff that seem to forget you’re there, and other tables “wished us luck” with our order which should have been a warning sign. seemed like every table had slow service and had been forgotten about.

Really special place - Underrated. - Edit
I wasn't initially inspired by the imagery, but we needed a dog-friendly place with sockets to work for the day and decided to give it a go.
Read moreVery pleasant surprise, the owner is mega friendly and always keen to help and the food was genuinely amazing. It's not fast food, so don't expect it to arrive within a few minutes, it's all cooked from scratch with fresh ingredients. Everything is Gluten free and it's mostly vegan and veg food.
We were told the vegan burger doesn't come with a bun (yet - he's still hunting for the perfect GF bun), so we went for the Sauteed Tofu and vegan kebab skewers to share between us and we were so pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was. So full of flavour and clearly made with a lot of love!
Recommend this place very highly! Really enjoyable day here!
Pros: Service with a smile, Food made with love, So much flavour
Cons: A little dark inside, Needs better speakers for the music

Has lots of vegan options. However, the vegan ravioli didn’t taste like anything. Maybe the other options are better.

Nice little place that smells divine! - Edit
Extensive choice of vegan and gluten free food, a little bland but extremely interesting options. Soup of the day was good but and for me personally a little bland. Raviolis are really interesting and hold a nice combination of flavours, bread is yummy and so are their starter dipping sauces, great gluten free beer and nice ice tea. Pizza is also an interesting choice, served on a home made dough. Highly recommend!

OK place for lunch! - Edit
A small restaurant offering lots of vegan options. I had the tagliatelle pasta and my partner had miso soup. He was a bit disappointed in his miso soup, a LOT of pretty much just celery in it. My pasta was 8/10, good! Ice tea was just water with cinnamon and lime, not very good and not sweet at all. Staff was very friendly, our waiting time for food was about 20 min, not as long as some people seem to have experienced.

The tofu steak, the soup and the açai bowl were all great. You need to be a bit patient because they prepare everything from scratch, but it's worth it.

Truly incredible and healthy food in Faro, Portugal - Edit
True vegan food in the heart of Faro!
Read moreFood ****
So many delicious options but we settled on the vegan ravioli and tofu stir fry. We also got cappuccino and the vegan Baileys because have you ever even heard of vegan baileys?! Well everything was amazing: the ravioli is actually zucchini pieces wrapped into a ravioli shape that encompasses tofu and mushrooms so good, stir fry also great. Cappuccino was amazing. And the BAILEYS! You have to try. Tastes exactly like it and comes with a lemon in it which for the life of us we couldn’t figure out why!
Atmosphere ****
Inside and outside options, cute alleyway, quiet and quant.
Service ****
Waitress was very nice, free tap water too and quick service.
Price $$
About 10-13 euro per entree
Pros: Healthy as can be

Mixed feelings - Edit
I am so grateful to have a place in Faro that has a lot of vegan options! I will be back to try other dishes. First visit was MEH. I had the vegan kabob. The sauce was great but the tofu wasn’t grilled (as was told). The sweet potato fries that come with it were undercooked and barely warm. I dipped them in the sauce and made them edible.
Read moreMy friend had the stroganoff and it was good. Strong coconut flavor, which I like.
Service was basic at best. (Maybe she was having a bad day?) Other reviews talked about wait time. It took 35 min to get our food which I feel is reasonable.
Plate presentation was nice.

Long waiting times - Edit
We waited 65 minutes for our starters and 80 minutes for our main course.. the waitress told us that it was going to take a while but didn’t mention that we would have to wait for an hour and a half. The Burger my boyfriend had to order because the homemade tagliatelle would’ve taken another 30 minutes, ordered missed a few ingredients and wasn’t too flavourful (bean patty, cold sweet potato fries). I ordered the vegan ravioli which ended up being zucchini instead of dough - the flavour was okay, the sauce was intense. The starter was very small and not worth the price, but the sauce was delicious! Sadly only two stars because of the long waiting time for something that definitely doesn’t take that long .. and all of the other 10 customers had to wait for 90 minutes as well!

Slow and unimpressive - Edit
We waited 30 mins for drinks and almost an hour for our food. We were the only people in the restaurant when we ordered. When the food came and was a little cold and totally unflavoured. Really disappointed, especially as this is quite an expensive restaurant for Faro. It’s the closest I’ve ever come to returning the food and not paying. We actually went somewhere else afterwards to eat.
Read moreThe only saving grace was the waitress who was friendly, but obviously struggling a bit and the spicy sauce which was surprisingly good.
The menu and location has a lot of potential, I hope they can use this feedback to improve.
