cool vege coffeehouse - Edit

This a cool and friendly coffeehouse selling a nice selection of tasty snacks with a good vegan choice. The large windows and relaxed atmosphere make it a great setting to unwind drinking delicious coffee whilst watching the world go by.

Pros: good vegan choice, reasonable prices, friendly knowledgable staff

The Heat is On - Edit

Heaton is the more likeable student part of Newcastle compared to the more pretentious Jesmond. It's a perfect spot for a vegetarian cafe on the bustling Chillingham road and a much needed addition since the demise of Jack Sprats further along the street. Friendly staff, funky interior and great music. The window seat is ideal for a sour dough bread toastie filled with vegan goodness and a freshly brewed coffee from a local coffee company. Next time we'll give the vegan cakes some more detailed attention. Absolutely certain to be back.

Pros: good prices, friendly, vegan cakes

Well worth checking out - Edit

A good addition to the lively Heaton area. I've been here twice since it opened and they offer lots of vegetarian and vegan options such as soups, shakes, sarnies and cakes which all looked very appetising. My wife got the vegan chocolate cake and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and the music that was playing was just up my street. Will definitely pop in again.

Pros: Vegan options, Friendly staff
