Great spot - Edit

Lots of great vegan options

Cute place, tasty vegan options - Edit

Eaten there a few times. Love the smoothies, and muffins, as well as the sandwiches. Ohhh, and try to go on their vegan waffle days! Staff very nice and helpful. Every cute kind of eclectic place settled into a street full of mom and pop shops.

Pros: Vegan options for many levels of hunger.

Cons: A little pricy

My daughter, Sage, and I delivered dogs from our animal shelter in Rockport to a rescue organization in Rosenberg. After, we used the app to find a vegan-friendly place to have lunch. Of the options available, we chose Trough and fell in love with the location, staff, but especially THE FOOD. I had the detox soup (incredible!) and gluten-free veggie sandwich. The quinoa and greens side perfectly accompanied the sandwich. The beet mix (Ruby Red?) cold-pressed juice was also delicious! After our meal we tried macaroons and cheescake — both raw and vegan. Both, delicious. I will definitely recommend Trough to my friends. We will be back, too!

(My daughter’s review): Trough Juice Bar has a lot of the foods that I normally eat, like the black bean soup which is what I had. They have a lot of sandwiches; the one I had was my favorite thing that I ate, which is surprising, because it had avocado in it, and I normally don’t like avocado. I love their vegan treats. Like the cheesecake was delicious. There is a lot of vegan options and I would give them five stars, but this app said five star rating is only an option for fully vegan and vegetarian restaurants.
