Compared to years ago, a few vegan options (pita falafel wraps, vegan spanakopita and vegan kouros).
Not cheap, but very filling.
The only downside: gone is gone, so if there’s nothing vegan in the display cabinet, they won’t check/make fresh.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the vegan spanakopita, which I was really looking forward to try in Greece, but it was a bit greasy. The smoothies were quite nice, specially in the summer heat.
Possibly the cheapest vegan options on Aegina? Definitely among the cheapest food on the seafront. Big sign out front that says VEGAN VEGETARIAN OPTION so you can't miss it. Vegan pastries today were potato pie, courgette pie, and spinach pie (they also have the same with cheese if you are vegetarian). Falafel pita/sandwich available - they will ask what sauces you want, tell them you're vegan if you want to avoid tatziki/mayo. Made fresh to your specification😄
This type of cheap, fast, good food is like catnip to me. Perfect fuel for a trip to the beach. Staff are friendly, seating is under canopy, all is tasty. A good time!
They have soy, almond, and coconut milk for their coffees, smoothies and shakes.
