Wow! An island gem! - Edit
This spot was an 8 min walk from my accommodation. Might be easy to miss as it’s not an overtly obvious shop front. It’s quiet and small, but they certainly cater well to vegans! Plenty of options to choose from, and if you need help deciding, they’re happy to help with suggestions.
Read moreI ordered the Pepes Tofu (on recommendation from the owner), and it was amazing! Grilled tofu in banana leaf, gorgeous traditional herbs and spices with it too, crunchy beans and carrots, with steamed rice. Really hit the spot. Healthy, tasty, and left me feeling very satisfied.
I love the location as it sits in amongst nature and people’s homes. Super cute. Very local. Soft, sweet music. Feels very comforting. Will definitely be back!
Came back for breakfast the next morning and had a Sun Burn smoothie bowl and 2 oat milk lattes. Absolutely delicious and filling!

The food is really delicious. Came here after checking out devils tear for dinner and came back for lunch the next day! Food is very very good, staff will help with vegan options, because it is not clearly marked. But they are experienced and make sure that your order will be vegan. The prices are also very good!!!

Great food, great presentation, lovely couple who own and run it. We had lunch and dinner here on the same day, it was so good! It started raining after dinner, they insisted on giving us a lift home on their scooters. Highly recommend!

Small restaurant in the front garden of this lovely couples home. As all food is made fresh, it can take time if there are many customers visiting. We had the Tempe Rendang (on the specials board) and Sweet and Sour Tempe. We enjoyed our meal here, but the Rendang wasn’t as spicy or fragrant as expected.

Run by a husband and wife combo. Such a cute find. There aren’t clear vegan signs on the menu but almost half of the menu can be made vegan, whether it’s noodles, rice, curry or the tofu burger and the owners understand veganism really well. I ate here almost every day and the owners started to recognise our group which was so nice. The food takes a while to be served but that’s a sign of freshness for me and there looked to be only one woman in the kitchen.

The best place to eat in Lembongan - Edit
Run by a husband and wife as they had to let staff go during covid the service is slow but BOY is it worth it!! We have eaten here daily, great costs and delicious food. The noodles, rice, curry all amazing. Really nice place too and really nice people who are excited to have tourism back

What a gem in Nusa L! We had the sun burn and tropical island smoothie bowls and omg were they amazing! We were looking for something more healthy to eat and this hit the spot. The lady who served us was so lovely and understood what vegan meant. The yoghurt/milk is replaced with coconut milk and it was delicious. Would definitely come back here again.

After navigation here I walked around open stir restaurant reading small menu and decided to get a bowl (minus yogurt plus avocado and coconut milk) but could find no one. Just as I was giving up owner road up on scooter with her kids (adorable!) she had picked up from school.

Ahh we absolutely love this place! The owners speak decent English, they understand veganism and serve vegan special coffees, smoothie bowls and mains. Ask for vegan smoothie bowls — they make them with coconut cream in stead of milk and yogurt.

I feel bad bagging this place cos he’s a nice guy and the foods pretty ok but when I ordered the Tempe burger I said I was vegan so no egg but then it came with mayo alllllll over it. I was like ‘dude, mayo has egg’ and he said yes just a little! Ffs 🤦🏻♂️ He apologised and didn’t charge me but that lack of knowledge just make me too uncomfortable to go back and order other dishes.

This is a family run restaurant not a juice bar although they do smoothie bowls and juices. They serve meat but also have a good amount of veggie options that are/can be made vegan. The family are lovely and understand what vegan means. Food is good and cheap!
