Cool Large Vegan Restaurant - Edit
Delicious and HUGE portions. Manos the owner recommended we only get the small appetizers plate which was more than enough. We also tried the gyro. Fantastic. We ordered the pizza too but we were so full by that time that Manos took it off the bill. Good beer and a very nice chocolate cake for dessert.

Trivoli - Edit
One of the best vegan restaurants in Athens. You can find a variety of different plates on the menu. Friday's, Sunday's and Saturday's have a special plate except menu. Manolis is lovely host, he makes you feel like home!!!

Wow. The guy running this place is a sparkling energised ball of loveliness. I went with a group of friends and we all thought it was "the business" - the food, the place, the boss, were just magnificent. Bravo!

Combines everything. My fav vegan place in Athens. - Edit
Very friendly human interaction. Very tasty. Good prices. Large portions. A good place to relax for a drink or eat. Away from the crowded center of Athens in a nice suburb. There's usually a special dish during weekends.

Traditional Greek Cousin Turned Vegan - Edit
This is probably the best place near Athens to taste traditional Greek dishes cruelty free. The Greek cousin have many traditionally vegan dishes but some of the more popular ones like "Soutzoukakia" are not vegan. This place turns a lot of otherwise cruel dishes into delicious vegan meals.

Excellent food and extremely friendly owner - Edit
We had the small platter (assorted finger foods) as an appetizer, and the veggie burger and calzone as main dishes. They were delicious! The owner, Manos, is unbelievably friendly, by far the nicest person we have met in Athens. We would definitely come back, not only for the food, but also to have another chance to talk with Manos.

Great experience - Edit
We went to Trivoli on Christmas Eve, they were one of the few vegan friendly restaurants open. The service was excellent, all of the staff were very friendly and advised us on where we could find an open supermarket as nearly everything was closed.

One of the vegan places in Athens that you should not miss. Manos and Ioana are special and make you feel like home. Go on weekends for Greek specialties because they are delicious. Pizza is also very tasty with creamy cheese. Their Halva is very good.

The revolution starts in the kitchen - Edit
Everything we ordered was delicious. The owner was super friendly, who not only explained us the home made ingredients but took the time out to give us hints about other vegan restaurants. A true to the heart entrepreneur with a beautiful vision of fun future. The burgers were delicious, the pasta was lovely with the sauce made out of sunflower seeds, the appetizers plater was scrumptious. A must try!

Great place run by great people! - Edit
Trivoli is the first vegan cafe / bar that has opened in Athens.
Read moreI went when it first opened and I tried their burger which was delicious (and the fried potatoes on the side as well).
They also followed my advice to use cruelty free cleaning products and soap, which I highly appreciate.
The owners are kind people, always welcoming us with a smile on their face.
Totally a must if you are around the area.
UPDATE: After having been twice there in 10 days, I strongly recommend Pasta with sun dried tomatoes and sunseed sauce and the "poikilia" which means diversity and it's a big plate with a variety of mezedes or tapas. Also, try the mosaic desert!
Reading all the reviews, I get this big smile on my face! Everyone is writing about Manos amazing attitude! It's true that Trivoli without Manos would not be the same. He is the main reason we all go back there!

Delicious! - Edit
This place is a little far from the centre of Athens but we thought it was worth the trek out there. We of course had the burgers and they were amazing. We were served by a sweet greek lady whose English was limited but we all managed to communicate. The menu was in greek, but that didn't matter, after reading the reviews we knew what we were there for. We also had some kind of frozen cheesecake thing as dessert and it blew my mind. Such a great little restaurant!
