Serves meat, vegan options available. High-end Indian restaurant with one Michelin star. Has a separate vegan tasting menu with pairing wines. Some of the dishes from the tasting menu are also to be found in the a la carte menu. Has a distinctive vegetarian section, where several probably are vegan. Ask to be sure. Cashless. Open Mon-Sat 17:00-22:00, Wed-Sun 12:00-14:30, Sun 17:00-21:30. Mon-Sat closes at 10.15 pm & Sun closes at 9.45 pm for dinner servings. Restaurant itself opens after the last order.

VERY expensive

Ok, I do admit that during my recent visit I found most restaurants in London to be fairly expensive, even though Stockholm isn't the cheapest of cities either. However, I thought Trishna's Taste of the Western Ghats was quite next level. I went for a four course menu that cost 55 pounds (plus 15 service charge, no less). I liked them all to various degrees, but none of them were outstanding in my humble opinion. Trishna has a pleasant location with not that many loud guests, which is always appreciated. A fun and somewhat shocking occurrence was that staff knocked on the door to the bathroom and actually came in. Embarrassed, she apologised and left. Not sure what needed to be taken care of urgently, as the facility looked fine to me.
It was also quite confusing to know whether we needed to order from the same menu, if one guest could have more courses than the other.. on top of comparing the Taste of the Western Ghats (with no indicated vegan dishes) with the "standard" vegan menu, in order to determine what would be suitable for this attendee. Staff were friendly and attentive, but then again, they get good money for that. After my visit, I received no fewer than 2 separate emails with a predictable request for feedback.. which, to me, almost makes for spam. All in all, a nice meal which involved a whole lotta money spent.

Trishna - 5 Stars - Excellent Michelin Star Restaurant

Amazing food

This is one of few places I have seen that has a vegan tasting menu. The dishes are absolutely amazing. Some very spicy for my taste, but I can't take a lot of spicy food. The dishes are very big to be part of a five-course meal. You should come here extremely hungry. Luckily, you can take away the food you don't eat - just ask the staff. The staff is very friendly and the wines in the wine pairing were amazing. Absolutely recommended. 5/5
