Worth the trip - Edit
A definite improvement on the Fitzroy eatery. Plenty of seating and less hectic when we visited.
Tofu Asada Burrito - excellent, very tasty
Mixed Taco Meal (1 Beans + 1 Tofu) - fair; small, awkward to eat and not good value
Quesadilla - vegan cheese and salsa filling; very good
Fries - freshly cooked, crispy and nicely seasoned
Pros: Plenty of seating
Cons: Parking can be tricky

Arriba - Edit
The food and venue are better than the other Trippy Taco outlet (admittedly that is not saying a great deal)
All of the food that we had was fairly decent apart from the Tacos which were ridiculously small to the point of being... pointless.
Cons: Still only vegetarian for no apparent reason, Parking

Excellent, cheap, quick. - Edit
Lots of interesting things to try on the menu, vegan and gluten free marked. Good value, serves alcohol (including Mexican cocktails) although the decor is a bit 'fast food-y'. Well worth a visit.
Pros: Plenty of choice, Heplful staff, Fresh and quick

Awesome vegan mexican food for the Southside! - Edit
It's so great having a Trippy Taco location South of the river!
We ordered a large serve of the fries - they are so delicious with their spicy seasoning, a vegan quesadilla with salsa which was so creamy and delicious - quite cheap too, and vegan taquitos which were really nice and crispy and came with a side salad. I think they use daiya cheese because it was just so creamy and melts so well.
We also got the tortilla melt dessert which uses vegan chocolate spread and it was so delicious, it's a big tortilla folded over so it was enough for the two of us to share.
Great restaurant, excellent service and great vegan food!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Great vegan cheese, Yummy vegan dessert tortilla
Cons: Would like a choc hazelnut dessert tortilla using

the burritos!!!! - Edit
Oh boy you got to try here if you want good vegan Mexican food. The use of vegan sour cream and cheese means that you don't feel like you're missing out on anything! I had the Asada tofu burrito and it was heaven. Big portions but I felt full not stuffed after. Good ratio of avo and salad!
Friend got the sweet potato fries which were nice but I don't understand all the fuss? Just sweet potato with paprika haha. But nice! Apparently the sangria is also tasty.
Service was quick for a Friday night also. I thought the prices reasonable, especially if ordering vegan. Not a giant premium on vegan condiments like what I'm used to haha!!!
Pros: delicious, large portions, cheap

Great No-Fuss Yummy Options - Edit
So happy that Trippy Taco has landed here in the south! Their food is enjoyed but not only me but also my friends and family who are not vegetarian or vegan.
Pretty reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive. Take-Away meals are also really convenient.
Would recommend the Tofu Asada Burrito.
Pros: Take-Away, All items can be made Vegan, Nice Location

Much the same, which is fine - Edit
We came here at lunchtime in a Saturday and it was not very busy at all. The restaurant is well located just off the main dining and entertainment street in St Kilda, just up from the popular Prince of Wales pub. The space is much bigger and more modern than the Fitzroy restaurant but the menu is identical, as are some of the details, such as the old tequila bottles for water and the hot sauce bottles. The food is decent for fast food Tex Mex and, while it's not cheap, the price is not unreasonable.
Pros: Decent-sized space, Good location
