Purple nurple - Edit

Beet this burger- a soft textured beet and bean affair that I found pretty dang tasty, as were fries. Fresh and coriander-y, provides a bit of a contrast to the more solid textured, huge portions of build a burg over road. Giving it one less than BB cos less options for veggies, but kudos for offering a different kind of burg.

Pros: Fresh fresh... Exciting

Cons: One only option

Vegan option is OK but a little bland - Edit

The title says it all. The burger is OK but a bit bland compared to its lurid purple colour. Chips are pretty nice and the price point is pretty good. If you fancy a bit more of a choice check out Build a burger opposite, who can stand over years of providing totally vegan fast food. This is a bit more "artisan"-y.

Kudos to Tribal for their Vegan Burger - Edit

Kudos to Tribal for having a vegan burger on their menu. I really enjoyed this smoked beetroot/ chickpea pattie which was served in a bun with Tribal slaw and chilli hummus. The chips were also excellent, plus they're vegan too, which is a rarity in Belfast. Tribal is licensed thus sells a range of reasonably priced wine and craft beer. My only complaint is that it would be nice to see a couple of vegan burger options on the menu - this would create more choice for vegetarians/ vegans. Overall a pretty good experience and I will return for the vegan burger and to try their salad couscous Tri-Box and sweet potato fries.
