Yummy but Limited!

The first time I came to Tree of Life I came with my best friend who is vegetarian and I am vegan. As soon as we walked up, one of the workers asked if we were vegan or vegetarian and they told us what options we had they had plenty of soups and a few other things but as for something a little more filling there was only one. We decided to go for the papas (potato) tacos. My tacos came with cabbage and salsa, as for my friend she added cheese and sour cream to hers as well. We were both very happy with our food because it was good! However, I think they are a bit limited when it comes to their lunch entrées. From what I've seen on their menu there's only two to choose from. Don't get me wrong, the service is great and what vegan options they do have is always delicious but I'm just patiently waiting for more to come.

Cons: Limited vegan options

Yummy Tofu Scramble

I came here one morning and I asked if they had anything vegan and the lady helping me knew what a vegan diet was and offered me a tofu scramble. She told me that it wasn't available right them but they could always make it if requested. It thought that was really sweet and helpful. I also asked if they had any vegan treats, and they do! Although it's not always available. I would definitely call them before you head over if they have any, This is a beautiful restaurant in downtown Fresno that I would recommend for a get together or to catch a quick lunch.

Pros: Great location, Great service

Cons: I would like more vegan options

Great place for a vegan breakfast

I was looking for places in my area that have vegan breakfast offerings and was surprised to discover this little gem on downtown Fresno. When we (me and husband) entered the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a staff member. When I informed her I was vegan, she promptly shared which food items I could eat and also said they could modify food as well. We decided to order the tofu scramble and it was delicious and satisfying. I will definitely plan to visit here again next time I'm in Fresno.

Pros: Vegan tofu scramble for breakfast

Cons: Would love more vegan food options
