Excellent Restaurant - Edit
We found this cute, traditional Italian restaurant while on vacation. The owner and I did not speak the same language, but managed to understand each other well. Many vegan pizzas, vegan dessert, und even a welcoming attitude towards dogs. Prizes are reasonable as well. Can whole-heartedly recommend!

Absolute gem - Edit
In this region of Italy there are practically no vegan offerings except pizza without cheese. This place has 6 clearly marked vegan pizzas which are top notch (of the thin variety). We had the Tempo and one with pistachio creme. They were both delicious. They use vegan cheese, fresh and original toppings, the service was outstanding, there was a free starter (little chickpea "breads"), they had a vegan choclate cake as desert. The interior design was very cute and stylish - the whole place is run with love for details, highly recommend. Place only gets busy after 1900-1930 and might not open before 18:20...prices are very moderate and well worth the food you get.

So many delicious vegan options! - Edit
We came to this restaurant because it was the only place nearby that had vegan options and the possibility of gluten-free meals registered at Happy Cow and I'm so happy we went!
Read moreThe pizzeria is located in the center of Maggiaro, which is close to the Orta Lake. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was very beautiful.
The menu has a separate section for vegan pizzas with a great variety of choices. Prices go between €4,5 (marinara, not in the vegan section but is fully plant-based) to around €14 (not very sure).
I ordered the Tempo, it had a lot of flavour and was very good.
For an extra €2, you can order a pizza with a gluten-free base, which is baked in a separate oven. This is possible for every pizza of your choosing. To me, this is a great plus for this restaurant.
We didn't order a desert, so I didn't have a chance to see if there were any vegan desert options.
The service was great, although we had to wait a while for our pizzas to be served. This had to do with the fact that the pizzeria also does take-away and that we ordered a gluten-free pizza.
The chef is willing to make some adjustments if asked.
I would absolutly recommend this place!!
Pros: Many tasty vegan options, Gluten-free base is possible for every pizza, Great atmosphere
Cons: It took long for our pizzas to be served
