A shop selling Indian goods, snacks, chai and teas. Serves food every Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday lunch. Reported closed to HappyCow. Beacon location is still open.
We heard good things so we went and were very pleased. It kind felt like we were not in the USA and were really in India! The staff was warm and the homebrewed chai is truly the best around....just like we had read. The four of us all ordered the thalis so we got to taste a bit of everything. My only complaint was that the food wasn't as spicy as I like, so next time I'll ask for mine to be hotter. We arrived at noon starving and were bummed initially to learn that lunch begins at 1PM. So we spent the time having a blast at their shop next door trying on clothes and enjoying the faraway smells and learning so much from the proprietor.
