Ok vegan option in Alghero - Edit
Nice to have a fully vegan pasta option, but a little bit plain, and a small portion for the price. Wouldn't rush out again for it.

Nice thing is that they have a vegan section on the menu, however, both things that I had (antipasto, primo) were very average if being very kind with the review. The turnip was very sour (pickled), the gnocchi perhaps were nice but the sauce was a bit tasteless. Would have loved to love it but alas.

I was excited to find a restaurant with an entire vegan menu… gosh! Don’t fall for it! 3 dishes, and 2 of them are absolutely the same thing, a flavourless mush shaped in two different ways (the eggplant balls and the hamburger).
Read moreI know that there aren’t many vegan options in Alghero but even pasta with tomato sauce is better than this so-called vegan menu (and less expensive).

The starter, polpette di melanzane was divine. The gnocchi were also delicious but but the pesto was slightly lacking in flavour, or salt?

Hard to find vegan food in Alghero. Really enjoyed the well labeled vegan options! Big portions for the price, staff was super friendly. Would have enjoyed the stay even more if they still had vegan antipasti or dessert for the full experience.

Felici di trovare delle opzioni vegane ad Alghero, entriamo e ordiniamo le polpette di melanzane come antipasto, erano a tratti calde a tratti fredde, palesemente riscaldate (male) al microonde, accompagnate da una maionese che sapeva solamente di aceto. Arriva il primo, che è l’unico piatto nel menù, gnocchi che dovevano essere al pesto di rucola e mandorle, l’unica cosa presente in quel piatto era l’olio. Beh ricapitoliamo, 1 antipasto, 2 primi e 1 bottiglia di vino della casa al prezzo di 68€. MAI PIÙ!

Apprezzabile il menu vegano con 3 opzioni. Abbiamo preso come antipasto le polpette di melanzane (insapore) con una mayo-veg pessima. Pessimi anche gli gnocchi al pesto di rucola che quasi galleggiavano sull'olio nel piatto.

The best gnocchi ever! - Edit
The food and service here were top notch. I started with the vegan aubergine potato balls with vegan mayonnaise, and the had the pesto gnocchi with a side of grilled vegetables and roast potatoes. Recommend them all, I will definitely be returning!

Yesterday we visited small cute restaurant in the middle of the old city Alghero.

The menu has 3 vegan dishes and some vegan sides.
Otherwise very meat and fish orientated. We ordered gnochi and first dish with aubergine and vegan mayonese.
From my subjektive vieuw :
The first dish with aubergine was fried and mayonese was quiet sour.
Second dish was gnochi with rocket pesto snd almonds on the top. Food looked very nice but flavour was very neutral and oily.
For my taste very hard to digest...
Overalall good point for having vegan options on the menu in Sardinia.
Pros: Good portions , Friendly stuff, For vegetarians very good for vegan harder choices
Cons: Higher price, Oily food with less flawour, No flexibility in preparing extra vegan dish
