Cool low key vibe. Nice healthy choices. Espresso is top. Also nice sustainability push. Music good.

Mellow spot by day, music powerhouse by night - Edit

Hip cafe which is part of indy music venue Trans-Pecos. Pure vegetarian menu is, as far as I know, the only one at the Halsey L stop. Some vegan options, plus smoothies and sweets. Although the cafe itself is small, guests are welcome to make use of the seating in the live venue part of the building, and even beyond that into the backyard outdoor space, which means there is a ton of space to spread out and leisurely eat, chat, or work on a laptop. Not only can you feel good about supporting a vegetarian cafe, you can feel good about supporting a non-profit venue that has been hosting a wide variety of underground music for years.

Pros: Lots of space, Good people, good cause

Cons: Limited menu
