Great vibes, meh bites - Edit
If you’re looking to kick back in a stylish pub, Travalgar Tavern has you covered. Just don’t set your culinary hopes too high — the vegan burger was nothing to write home about, and the homemade focaccia seemed more oil bath than bread (maybe that’s the style?). It’s really all about the lively, packed atmosphere here. Oh, and a heads-up: they serve Heinz ketchup from a glass bottle — a near-miss ketchup disaster included.

Tasty Vegan Roast - Edit
Went for Sunday roast. The vegan roast option was butternut squash, mushroom and beetroot wellington which was tasty, but there wasn’t any other Sunday vegan options (other than plant based burger). Also, not enough gravy for me, I asked for more and they only brought very a small amount, didn’t want to ask for more again!

Very good vegetarian curry - Edit
I was happy to see several vegetarian and vegan options in the pub menu. I chose a sweet patatoes and chickpea curry which was excellent. The naan served with it was excellent too.

Vegan options for Wedding reception - Edit
Ive attended two weddings here and have had very good and delicious vegan meals on both occasions. I didn’t like that on the second time, they seemed to have forgotten about serving me a different vegan dessert (I was the only vegan in this party)
