Love trader joes and it's in a great location

I contantly fail to understand what Trader Joe's is doing at the HappyCow or why people mentioned this as a place where you could get organic stuff. I have been here several times and never found anything I could buy (neither before I was a vegan not after).

After living in the MD/DC area for many years I couldn't wait until this Trader Joe's opened. This is your typical Trader Joe's store that carries a lot of their own branded products, which are usually pretty high quality. I also love the fact that if you buy one of their products and don't like it, you can take it back for a full refund. We have had good luck with their bakery selections, boxed Indian foods, salads, vitamins and frozen foods. They have taken away some of their vegetarian frozen food items, like the Pad Thai and Rice Bowls, really wish they would bring those back. Usually stock up on Luna Bars, Tofutti products and Tofurkey, all at very good prices.

The parking can be an absolute nightmare in this place, try going around back. Is located off Rea Road between Pineville Matthews and the Stonecrest area, very close to the library. Can get very crowded on the weekend, especially with people parking to use the Greenway adjacent.

Overall, very glad they opened as it gives me more options for buying good veggie food at solid prices.
