Crowded...

Good luck to find some vegan stuff there, teehee. That being said, what's vegan is really yummy (I'm thinking about you, ice-cream sandwiches!)
The bread is good too. The place was often crowded, so try to go in the morning.

Pros: Some good vegan stuff, Good bread

Cons: Crowded, Expensive, Not a lot of vegan stuff

Great place but crowded

Great place with creative food, lots of veg options, but it’s too crowded. We used to go here a lot — 3-4 times a month — when we lived closer. But we have moved farther out and have drifted away as TJ’s has grown more popular and is perennially packed. But I will still make it there once every six months or so and buy a bunch of frozen and fresh foods (their international frozen food selection is quite nice). TJ’s has made a concerted effort to reduce sodium but read the labels before buying. Their produce (fresh and frozen) is quite nice. And the prices are reasonable.

Pros: Lots of veg options, Good variety, Reasonably priced

Cons: Crowded

Standard fare

I like to go to Trader's Joe's for some of their standard fare veg*n friendly items - like fake meat, veggie snacks, fresh fruit, junk food (chips and cookies, soy ice cream), nondairy beverages (organic non-dairy coconut milk), nondairy yogurts, granola bars, breads and frozen veggies. They also have a good assortment here in the summer and harvest months for local produce, like zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, and cheap organic veggies and fruit, like berries, apples, plums, peaches, oranges, avocados, green peppers, broccoli and cucumbers. The prices are reasonable for the produce and snacks, but you have to make sure you find the best stuff! The only problem with the organic produce is some of them are wrapped to wazoo in packaging. Still, this is one of the better locations for choice of produce.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Packaging
