Really cosy, despite heavy rain outside. Amazing range of top quality vegan cakes. Delicious, think it's a bonus really that there's a range for everyone. Vegan myself but prefer places where family & friends can choose whatever they want.

Pros: Friendly atmosphere , Unreal ginger gf vegan cheesecake, Ver good value

Incredible vegan options

What a great surprise, literally stumbling across this lovely place. We walked up from Hebden Bridge. As a vegan I'm sure you are used to walking into a non vegan cafe and being offered a brownie, this incredible place has full vegan breakfast, sandwiches and 4 cakes. I had the walnut and carrot cake and my husband had the biscoff cheesecake and then we took home 2 slices of bakewell. All were utterly delicious. Such a nice atmosphere and great value for money. If you are there you must visit. I'm not surprised it's award winning it's brilliant. Thanks

Fantastic vegan options and friendly staff

It was such a surprise to stumble across this tearoom and find so much choice for vegans! We had cheese toasties and salad, but there were so many other savoury things we could have gone for. We took away a vegan Eccles cake and a large slice of Bakewell tart (but there were at least 3 or 4 other sweet vegan options, including cheesecake). The staff were friendly and helpful. We'd recommend a visit if you're passing through Heptonstall.

Delicious food and lovely people who run it

I had the homemade Mexican black bean soup with bread and delicious rapeseed oil and my mum had the mushroom soup with a cheese toastie which can be made with vegan cheese. Both soups were hearty and gorgeous and soups are always vegan. Took away homemade Yorkshire curd tart as my mum didn’t have room. Highly recommend. Book to avoid disappointment. Closed Tuesdays I think

Lots of options

Very friendly and reasonably priced tea room with vegan options including cakes, panini's, sandwiches, ploughman's, teacakes and cooked breakfast. Also had gluten free options

Wish I lived closer!

Loved this café! We went in for coffee then thought it only right to upgrade our order given the home-baked vegan cakes on offer. Staff were super friendly and the café is perfectly appointed to reward the steep, scenic walk up from Hebden Bridge. I'd love to go back and try the rest of their vegan options.

There's a nice back room so don't be put off if it looks full from the front.

Lovely spot great options

As high as can rate a non fully vg place.
Lovely owners, great options & pristine interior.
We had cakes and revisited for the plant based breakfast.

Delicious and so much choice

I was expecting to struggle getting food here, but there were so many options! Three cakes to choose from — a Bakewell which I got, chocolate cake and something else! Also five smoothies and loads of savoury choices. They’re also really friendly! Would recommend.

Lovely Homemade Food

Both soups were vegan and delicious. There was a vegan option for most menu items and over half the cakes were vegan and again lovely. Clearly a lot of effort was made to make the experience as nice as possible and to cater for vegans. We went with 4 young kids and the team were more than happy to help. Would’ve been 5 stars if that was possible for non-veg places

Fabulous find, gem of a place

For a small village this was an unexpected find! Loads of vegan options, everything home made by the family owners. Delicious 😋

Fantastic afternoon tea

We ordered afternoon tea (they ask for 24 hours notice) and it was amazing! £30 for two (without drinks) and we got porkless pies (delicious) I think they make them there, with olives and a brilliant tasty chutney, cheese sandwiches and spicy chickpea and avocado sandwiches (very very good), then a sweet cake stand with freshly baked (still warm!) scones (with jam and whippy cream), two cupcakes and fresh fruit. Everything was so fresh and tasty, and definitely more than we could all eat! Best afternoon tea I’ve ever had (vegan or not).
Lovely owners, dog friendly at the front, couldn’t fault it.

Amazing Vegan cakes with great service

Good range of Vegan cakes, soups and many other items on the menu. The owners are really lovely and make you feel very welcome.

Pros: Great Range of options , Good location to rest after a walk, Dog Friendly (in the front part)

I’d rate 5* if the app permitted it. Amazing vegan cakes, afternoon t and soups

Usually have cake and vegan sausage sandwich. Afternoon t and most soups vegan. Coffee available with non dairy milk.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Cakes and ice cream, Soup and sandwich

Cons: Closed Monday and Tuesday
