Set in the idyllic town gardens, I walked past the cafe and asked them hopefully if they offer any vegan options - not expecting much as it’s basically the size of a food truck.
Read moreThey informed me they offer a vegan cheese and mushroom toastie, vegan hotdog and a vegan cake. I ordered the hotdog which was cheap and cheerful and took the cake. I didn’t expect much as it was so small, but the cake was delicious - one of the best I’ve ever had, as I don’t usually like cake but I would have eaten more (it was the last slice so my thoughts are clearly not wrong)! It’s great to know we can visit the gardens and have a nice cheap lunch.
