Great dinner place - Edit
They have a plant based menu! They don't bring it but it's available ! They do great cocktails. I had tacos and I also taste the burrito. Everyone was happy about what they had! Service is good. I highly recommend this place !

The blue masa tortillas are so good! Authentic recipes from the owner’s childhood. They get everything local and you can taste it. Best vegan Mexican food I’ve ever had!

There was no special separate vegan menu, but just items marked on the menu that are inherently or can be vegetarian and depending on what it is you might have to ask for no dairy. I had the vegetarian burrito and it doesn't come with cheese or sour cream so no substitution was needed.

I messaged Luis the owner asking him to have the waitstaff bring the vegan menu along with the regular menu to the table. He said they would start that. We have to ask for it too. But automatically bringing one is what they should do. I’ll delete all these posts tomorrow so it’s not a cluttered up mess😜 TR has some pretty good plant based food.

Excellent Plant-based menu - Edit
Fantastic vegan Mexican options, a whole separate “plant-based menu” that for some reason isn’t on their website. Two good soups (pozole and tortilla), two taco types (soy chorizo, avocado) a vegan blue-corn tamal with nothing inside but topped with cilantro stewed zucchini, carrot, corn and served with incredibly well-cooked black beans, Mexican rice and homemade tortillas. Really nice (huge) salad (two options again), and slightly-spicy guacamole served with jicama spears instead of tortilla chips.

Good fresh Mexican food! They have a separate vegan menu with a nice selection to choose from. The vegetables are always fresh and never overcooked or mushy. The guacamole, pico de gallo and chips are delicious. And the owner Luis oversees the food and service assuring his customers are satisfied and he s super nice.

I’ve ordered takeout from this place at least 3 times now. Everything was completely fresh and felt good to eat. A disclaimer - my tastebuds don’t handle spicy foods at all so for me, any sort of dish with peppers at all ran very spicy and hard to impossible to eat (like the guacamole). But it was still good food so I don’t want to ding them for all the normal people out there who can enjoy spicy foods. My favorite (and not spicy at all) dish were the avocado and cabbage tacos. I had never tried tortilla soup before but they offer a vegan version so I tried that. I don’t know what that dish is meant to be like, but I thought it would have tortilla strips in the soup. Maybe because mine was delivered it got missed. The soup itself was extremely light and mild in flavor. Overall, a great option for vegans.

Had a couple emails with owner Luis about their food. He said they use veggie bouillon in the beans and rice.
Read moreI ordered the burrito and it was yummy. Crisp veggies, carrots, zucchini, onions, corn, beans and rice. Had a side of spicy sauce.
Wife had tortilla soup and liked it.
When they sauté the veggies it’s with broth and olive oil. I asked for no olive oil and they were able to do.
This is plant based food.
Glad to see they did not just put beyond or impossible on menu and call it good.
