Burritos in England will always be disappointing... - Edit
While it's great to have a burrito option at the airport, and it's an improvement on what was available 10 years ago in the UK (think canned kidney beans doused in sweet chili sauce and clumsily folded in a cold 'wrap' - no joke), the food here doesn't live up to its promise. When asked whether the beans were vegan the guy stirred them around and said "uhhh as far as I know...". Not entirely confidence-inspiring! But it's an airport, and these burritos are probably the best available vegan option. They're not awful, just mediocre.

Jackfruit option - Edit
Happy to see tortilla now offer jackfruit fillings instead of just the vegetables! Tasty burrito but not as good as barburrito (which has mock chicken) or mission burrito on park street

Awful experience - Edit
While food tasted ok, advised staff we wanted 2 vegan burritos, staff didn’t offer to change gloves, leaned over our open burritos whilst making others with beef on ladle which dropped / splashed onto our burritos without staff noticing. When told, the staff then restarted making the burritos only to do the same thing again! Eventually got it right and we ate because we were starving and in a rush but will not be going back again!!

delicious food, really helpful staff - Edit
Went into Tortilla as we happened to be at Cribbs Causeway and just fancied a burrito. We just asked for the vegetarian burrito and the staff offered to change their gloves once we got onto the extras the staff member picked up some cheese to offer and when we pointed out that we were vegan immediately offered to (and then did very happily) change his gloves (whilst being very apologetic!). Food was delicious with quite a few ethical drink options too, will definitely be back!
