Few vegan options but tasty - Edit

We came at a time when the place was very crowded and the only waiter serving the whole place was extremely busy. When he finally came to us and heard that we are vegan, he didn't seem amused. I had the impression that this was mostly because he expected that us ordering would be complicated and take long and he obviously didn't have time for that. He seemed to know what veganisms was except apparently he thought it also meant no gluten (which for some reason I have heard several times in Spain before). Therefore, I suggested we just order the dishes I was quite sure would be vegan: the gazpacho, the tabouleh and the hummus. He took the first two orders and then indicated that their hummus was made with yogurt - very helpful of him, so we didn't order that. He also recommended the patatas con tomate (potatos in tomato sauce) which we ordered as well.
The gazpacho was good, the tabouleh was rather boring and the potatos were amazing! (And I'm pretty sure they were all vegan.) As they offer a big serving of the potatos, I suggest you get that one to compensate for the few choices there are, so that you won't leave the place hungry.
Alltogether, they don't seem to love vegans in this place but still offer some quite decent vegan options. The choices are scarce, but, as to my knowledge there is no place that is great for vegans in Ronda, this is probably a good option. Also, it is a quite typical Spanish tapas bar, so if you ar looking for that experience, go for it!

Pros: Offer vegan dishes, Waiter seems to understand what vegan is, Clearly labelled vegetarian options

Cons: Very few vegan options (better for vegetarians), Place can be very crowded sometimes

Didn't understand vegan!! - Edit

Told the waitress we were vegan (and explained no meat/eggs/cream etc) and then ordered all the vegan dishes we could. The patatas bravas came covered in aoili and some other dish (crunchy veg?) came covered in mayonnaise. We sent them back and were awaiting re-delivery when our plates were cleared away!!! Obviously we refused to pay for those dishes when the bill came listing them. Poor service in general. Wouldn't recommend.

Very Just OK - Edit

They weren’t very friendly or accommodating. Served my vegan wife two dishes with cream/dairy based sauces on top after we explicitly asked “no lactosia”. Basic home cooking.

Vegetarian Tapas - Edit

Situated on a busy shopping street, this place is popular with locals and tourists. This was a great place for lunch.

As a group of 2 veggies, 1 pesci and tapas loving meat eater, finding authentic Spanish food for all of us is a rarity. But Toro Tapas was great, offering 8 or 9 delicious vegetarian options.

We recommend the aubergine in honey (berenjenas en miel), the spicy patata bravas and homemade hummus).

Reasonable prices approx €7 per dish for a sharing plate.

Pros: Delicious Food, Decent prices, Friendly staff

Cons: Could offer more salad options

excellent experience - Edit

The waiter was fun friendly and more than happy to help with vegan options to the vegetarian portion of the menu...
For a hard line vegan probably not helpful that they serve meats from the same kitchen but a refreshing change in helpfulness and friendliness...
Would I go again .... definitely yes...

stay away - Edit

The only good thing, they have a few (not many) vegetarian dishes marked.
You can find some of them in any normal restaurant anyway.
The gazpacho was bad, but the tabule was a rippoff.

Pros: vegetarian dishes marked, hummus and two more, don

Cons: everything else

I've love it! - Edit

I went there with my family and everybody was satisfied with the respective dishes (they're no vegetarian).
Half of the menu is vegetarian and has an icon to identify it.
I've ask for the hummus, the "risotto de setas(mushroom)" and another "tapa" with vegetables I dont remember the name right now.
Lovely place!
Ps.: If you are vegan, you better ask what are the options.
