Coffee store located in a traditional Japanese house. Some of the staff speak English. All drinks made with milk but can be switched to soy milk or oat milk for free of charge. All food served is 100% plant based and suitable for vegans. Other veg options include vegan canele and variety of sandwiches (with vegan egg, cucumber, soy meat cutlet). To find it: Head east on Nijo Street from Kawabata, then walk 3min and find ‘Beaumont Mews’ on the left. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-9:00pm. Closed Tue.

Comfy vegan breakfast - Edit
It is very conveniently located to have breakfast before taking the train from Tokyo station. There are at least two vegan sandwiches on the menu, we chose the croque-monsieur, as well as coffee with oat milk. I really liked the sandwich, the cheese has a good consistency, the coffee was wonderful. The cafe is located at the ground floor of the office building, the staff is polite, credit cards are accepted.

A very stylish vegan cafe - Edit
It is a renovated old Japanese house, and the interior and furniture are very stylish.
Read moreA recommended cafe for a quiet stay, a little far from the downtown.
Besides coffee, you can also enjoy bancha (Japanese roasted tea).
They offer vegan egg sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, katsu sandwiches, and teeka masala sandwiches.
The sandwiches are Japanese style.
They're all delicious, but I recommend the katsu sandwich👍
It seems like new menu items are being added all the time.

Delicious Sandwiches~ - Edit
We went there for breakfast and had 3 different sandwiches, all of them were super delicious (eggless egg, tonkatsu and cucumber). I would definitely come again! But the cafe latte is a little bit expensive I think, since some sandwiches are cheaper than the cafe🙈

Have ordered from here twice and happy every time - Edit
Love their oat coffee, caneles and egg sandwich.
Read moreTheir coffee is much better than most I've had in Japan.
I've liked all of the sandwiches I've ordered from there (have tried the egg, cucumber, fish and katsu). I really like the egg and cucumber.
Caneles are firm (as they should be) on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside.
Coffee is creamy.
Egg is scarily realistic.
Pros: Egg sandwich , Coffee, Canales
Cons: Katsu could be a bit better

Quality cafe with vegan food - Edit
Visited at lunchtime.
Read moreThis place was a true gem you can only find in Japan!
The interior reminds of a classy European cafe. The beautiful courtyard is traditionally Japanese.
Service was of utmost quality. Everything on the food menu was vegan, oat milk was available for drinks.
Tried their new item on the menu, the vegan fish & chips. Otherwise, sandwiches and desserts were available. Everything tasted great
Pros: Stylish atmosphere, Vegan food menu, Not expensive

Unique Spot - Edit
Great retro atmosphere with soy latte and vegan cannelle! They don't serve food every day - make sure to check ahead.

Vegan Sando! - Edit
Stopped by for a coffee and a vegan Sando - all the food is vegan and they were making the Sando bread fresh on site. I had the katsu and it was light and tasty - it was a little small serving wise so a good snack. The coffee was also delicious - I just got a black coffee. It did take a little while for the Sando to come out but the staff were lovely. Definitely worth stopping by if you want a vegan Sando!
