Better than expected

We were searching for a late night vegan option in Omaha and Toppers hit the spot! I know it’s a chain, but they don’t have it in Colorado so I wasn’t familiar with it. I was surprised to learn they had a vegan section of their menu, with vegan cheese sticks, pizzas, and chik’n tenders! The place was very busy with takeout and DoorDash orders. There seemed to be a bit of disorganization going on behind the counter and there was a long wait. But once we got our food, we were completely satisfied. The pizza was surprisingly good for a quick service pizza joint. I hope one of these spots opens near me one day!

Strong flavors are distracting

Thank you, Toppers, for having a Plant-Powered menu to choose from!

I tried and had high hopes for these pizzas but found the flavor too strong and borderline overpowering:

Vegan Korean BBQ Chicken-Less Topper
Vegan Pesto Margherita

The Veganstix by themselves were yummy but tasted too strong and borderline overpowering once dipped in the dairy-free ranch dipping sauce.

I sooo want to like their Plant-Powered menu. There are a few more things I’ll try including customizing and maybe to choose more traditional sauces. I’ll round up to 3 stars for now.

Pros: Plant-Powered menu, Can customize

Cons: Very strong sauces

Very Inexpensive Ingredients.

As a Vegan, who eats lots of veggies, a veggie pizza should be cheap, but the lukewarm service and the crust is what earned it 2 stars.

Pros: inexpensive

Cons: bad service, bad crust
